If you eat half of the carrot and share the other half with your new puppy 🐶 (big congrats by the way) (and carrots are approved snacks for doggies) then we can count this as a win 🏆 for the day!

Time for Gizzie to show up for the challenge!!!!! Okay, for me today, as I agreed to eat two extra pieces of fruit this week ; I will eat a pear, thinly sliced (trying to make it look fancy or something, lol 😊 to encourage it all) next to a little scoop of small curd cottage cheese for a snack.

@SparkyGizmo Oh my first day I ate some potatoes and tomato sauce. The second day I had a can of black beans. I figure just one veg is better than my usual none for weeks lol. I gave my pup a slice of watermelon to see her eat it, she ate it very gingerly and cautiously. And after on her walk was very afraid of a cat, I don't think shes ever seen a cat before. Pears are a good step, nice job. :)

Really sweet too that you gave fur baby some watermelon. Wondering if that was a first for them? Sounds like they were kind of "sneaking up on it" 😊
Certainly is funny that fur baby got to see a cat 😼 maybe for the first time. It's as if I can almost see it in my minds eye.....the worry, the fear, what the hecko is that thing? 😳 Wondering if fur baby then went into sniff mode to make friends, then low to the ground (fanny up in the air), tail wagging and pounce to do the whole "play with me"!!!
Cat runs away, quizzical look at you...."Daddy, where'd my new friend go"? If that's what happened, please give puppy a *hug* ❤️ from me. Animals can teach us a lot about the nature of things and even how things translate to humans. Sometimes it isn't easy for some to make new friends. 🐶

@SparkyGizmo It was her first watermelon slice, and yes and no, she wandered up to the sleeping cat on the side of road nearly stepping on it before she looked down. When she saw it her back fur went up and her tail got low, then her eyes got wide and she started backing away from it.
I think it was her first cat she ever saw. And the cat didn't want to play it just stood its ground and my puppy kept backing up in fear, then yipped at it once. I don't think she knew what it was. lol
