how do i stop myself from feeling anxious all the time?

i've tried journaling, meditation, but at the end of the day i'm still the anxious me. told people around me about this,that i have anxiety. and they said "only you can fix it"

i don't know how to fix it, it's not fun being anxious. i wish i didn't have anxiety. it affects me badly, i can't even do my hobby :(

@hopefulencounter

In my experience, physical exercises and earning money with personal ethics helps the best to overcome anxiety.

Just figure out what are you doing wrong

We all know that we just supress ourselves feelings for some time...

You subconsciously know what is giving you stress....

Hi! I used to struggle with anxiety as well, ngl the meds helped me the most, but I’ve noticed that things like journaling or meditation works the best when you’re consistent with it, which means doing it not only when you feel stressed out the most, but little by little every day :) for me in full honesty, the thing that made a huge difference was cutting down on social media especially before going to bed, I try reading a book instead or if I’m really tired coloring and watching shows. I’ve learned recently that stuff like reels or tik toks cause our brain to stress out a lot, I’ve felt a huge difference once I stopped watching them, even tho it used to be like a „quick solution” whenever I was stressing out once I stopped it actually made me feel a lot less anxious!

@peachhtea

thank you, i'll try to not watch a lot of reels before bed.. as for social media, i distance myself from it . back then i always try to get new friends but now i'm tired and just talk to few who i can trust ;-;

my problem with journaling is that i sometimes feel it's boring, but i'll give it a try again one day

@hopefulencounter Hey, I just want you to know that what you're feeling is completely valid, and it takes real courage to talk about it. Anxiety can be so draining, especially when you're already trying your best with journaling and meditation and still not feeling better. That's not a failure, it just means you might need a different kind of support. The people who said 'only you can fix it' meant well, but you don't have to figure this out alone. Have you ever considered speaking to a therapist or counselor? Sometimes anxiety runs deeper than coping tools can reach, and that's okay. You deserve proper support.

hi thank you for replying to my post <3

and thank you for comforting me T_T

yes anxiety is so draining, there's a lot going on in my mind. i doubted myself a lot, wondering that maybe if i don't have anxiety, i can be better than this. i've considered speaking to therapist, I told them about this but they never give me the green light. most of the time they said i was just overreacting

@hopefulencounter Maybe the goal isn't to become a person who never feels anxious. Maybe it's about becoming a person who still gets to do the things they love, even on the anxious days. 💛 Anxiety can be a really loud passenger, but it doesn't have to be the one driving. The fact that you're aware of it and talking about it and looking for ways to cope tells me you're already doing more than you realize. Be gentle with yourself; growth isn't always about getting rid of something,sometimes it's about learning how to carry it a little more lightly.

@Alice80808

you're right, maybe that's my real goal.. it's still difficult for me to treat my anxiety as a friend. i do hope one day i can love my hobby again, thank you for supporting and comforting me T_T <3

I think u need to figure out why you are anxious first of all, there must be a reason. They only u can calm your nerves. When I am anxious, I try to focus more on my breathing, name things around me or count backwards. It helps too, if u want to permanently lose anxiousness, u need to try to love yourself too. Encourage your small wins to give u confidence.
