Letting go
How do you let go of someone that you thought you loved more than life? How do you go on when they throw you away like garbage? How do you get throughthe day when you use to talk tothem over 5 times a day?
Its not easy. It is hard, I did it many years ago and I still feel the pain today. But it will come a day when you will not think about it every moment. It will.
Time helps you heal, many people come in your life and some leave for better people to come. Its like a redirection to something better. Hold on to hope<3
this is definietlynot easy. i have gone through this. time like everybody say will help but saying something u have in ur heart to the one for the last time always helps. nothing should be left unsaid. what i did was i wrote a poem. a goodbye poem to her. it relieved a lot of burden from my chest. if u can't write a poem i will suggest write a simple message to her one last time and nothing should be left unsaid. it always helps in moving on..:)
My advice is to keep yourself busy. Time will definitely be helpful when it comes to healing.
I am going through the same situation as you. I understand how difficult to let go of someone you truly love. How used we were with all the daily things we did together. We were just too used of having the person by our side. To me, it is almost 'not helpful' to say 'time will heal' or learn to 'let go', phrases like this, although it is true that time will dilute the pain of losing someone deary. I understand how difficult it is to let go of someone or something so important to you. The continuous flashbacks and triggers are making letting go really tough. Many may say that such pain is minimal compared to others who might go through things much worse than breaking up. However, the magnitude of pain cannot be justified or judged by others because others cannot feel the pain we went through even if they did went through similar situation. I can't speak for you, to me, letting go requires more than keeping busy and all, rather it is the sudden realisation to tell ourself it's time to stop and be better for ourselves. I hope I make some sense and I hope you don't feel that you're alone going through this. I hope you will be fine real soon. Blessed.
To add on, each has our own way to heal. There's not one way or the right way to heal. It takes lots of trail and errors to know what works and what don't. I'm still working on it too. I hope you'd find your own way of healing.
It is a daily fight for me. Not to text. Not to call. I had to block the number. Even still I try to knowing that it won't go through. Am I crazy????
You're not crazy. Trust me. I did that too even knowing that she will not reply me or pick up my call. It is just that we are used to the person presence. And, sometimes we want to 'feel' that thing will be normal if that person reply or talk to us like they used to. Sometimes, we just miss those old good time. When we are emotional unstable, any songs, music, place, things and even what people say that ring a bell, it triggers the emotions in us and eventually make us break down.
