When I was about 10 I got took to the family clinic in my area to get assessed for ADHD and Autism. When they found out I didn't have neither of them they tried everything to find out what was wrong with me even though I was 10?

When I was 13 I got told that I had signs of psychopathic behavior and that I should have counseling till I was 17. So I have been in counseling for 8 years which has caused me so many problems no one would believe me. I grew up thinking I wasn't normal and that I was a freak which has caused me stress and problems with my actual mental health and my weight.

Now since 16 I have been told I have depression. I went to see a therapist this year who told me I didn't have depression I had Borderline Personality Disorder, but when I went back he said I had nothing wrong with me that I was just growing up. I told my doctor I was getting sick of being misdiagnosed by so called professionals and that my tablets weren't working with my depression which made me think that I didn't actually have depression and she replied to me 1 month later and told me that "I expressed anger towards her" when I didn't even sound angry. I went to see a counselor who got in touch with my doctor so, I have an appointment with my doctor in September.

Any advice on what I should tell my doctor or write down for her? I don't think I can do this alone. Not anymore.

Hey darling, I am truly sorry to hear that this has happened to you. No one should have to go through all of that just to be made to run around in circles. It's mind-numbing and a nuisance in itself. If you don't think your doctor understands you can always go to a different one for their opinion. I remember seeing various doctors as well because they were misdiagnosing me. It is definitely stressful, bu we are here to help you out, no matter what.

If you want to write a note to your doctor, how about explaining to them when you believe everything started and the emotions you are experiencing. What circumstances lead you to feel that specific way?

If there is anything you would like to talk about, please feel free to send me a message at any point in time. I really do hope this situation gets resolved for you and soon! Sending lots of love and hugs your way! <3
