Peer Appreciation Invitation Style!
I am here to share with you my Peer Appreciation Invitation Style, as well as to invite you to think and share yours!
As Peer Appreciation Program team members and supporters, we want a looooot of people at cups engage themselves in appreciating one another using our peer appreciation form. It does wonders in creating and inspiring an appreciative environment at 7cups. Appreciation can easily and effectively uplift anyone! [That, in turn, helps bring the best out of us!]
For this appreciation cause, it is important we outreach and encourage more people to use the appreciation form!
Outreaching is an art. We need to outreach in a way that invites people in an informal and personal manner to participate! Personal invitations matter a lot when they are from the heart! So think and share with us your style of inviting a 7cups peer to appreciate someone using the peer appreciation form!
Here's my invitation style: I first look to break ice with them by saying hello! I might ask an icebreaker too, like 'how's your time going at cups?' Once we feel connected, I invite them! (I might also try to gauge their interest in appreciation by asking an appreciation-related icebreaker!)

Your invitation style is amazing, given yet another example of it in this post, where you invite us to invite each other for participating in the peer appreciation program. 😛
Keep up the great work, Fristo. ❤ Thankyou for encouraging outreach activities, it is a means of connecting with our peers too, I feel.
I don't think I have any style yet lol but I like taking the first step myself, so I appreciate people using the form, that way they become aware of the existence of our beloved program, and may even feel encouraged to use the form themselves for more peers in the community! Talk about creating ripples? 😛

Hi Good Day Sunshine! 😊❤️ If I may, from reading your words, I feel as if you do, in fact, have an invitational style and a very, very good one!
I see your invitational style as leading by example (being the example 😊❤️), showing them that "hey, if I can do it, so can you", showing them first hand that the peer appreciation program even exists, offering the person that has been invited the concept of experiential learning (learning by doing) by providing them the link, showing them how it can be done, and I can only imagine that you probably let them know they can contact you for any questions, support, etc. on how to accomplish this if they run into a snafu (yes, I know how you roll, lol 😊).
And above all Good Day Sunshine.........showing another teammate how good it feels to be appreciated. They get to live it, feel it. Mmmmm hmmmm, that felt good didn't it? Smiles, hugs and kindness are all contagious in my opinion. I am someone that loves the power of positive affirmations or my little catch phrase for it "catch me being good" lol 😊❤️ Positive affirmations hopefully will show others the desired behavior in hopes that the good behavior will be repeated, potential negative ones extinguished (how not to behave which would be the antithesis of what they were commended for) and may even get people on the "band wagon" to do the same for others in turn. Positivity begets positivity (hopefully).
These are always my intentions with how I commend others in the LSR publicly as well as nominating others for badges privately, letting them know that I have done so and teaching them the process so that they will, in turn, have the skills to do this for others if they would like to. Clearly my opinion of your invitational style may be quite biased, haha.

Idk how many universal facts are there in total, but +1 to it: SparkyGizmo can make mountains move with just their words, beautiful thoughts and the kindest possible intentions.

"How do I do this every time" ? I imagine that was a hypothetical question. 😊 I'd be happy to tell you my reasoning for doing it this time! 😊 You truly are someone that is quite humble in nature. You zipped on in here, said your thoughts, really good ones and then scooted on out. What you say I feel has a great deal of value around here.
You may not have even realized that your invitational style already exists. In my opinion, it's stellar and and an amazing leadership quality. Your process, that I simply expanded upon (just explained in more detail as well as highlighted the many benefits to it) has little nuggets of true gold embedded with in it. For me, my response was an attempt at, figuratively speaking, to put a big neon sign, big blinking arrow right towards your post. Kind of like.....uhmmmmm....anyone see that? Anyone catch that one?
If anyone had missed it and not really walked the path mentally of what you do, how you do it and why, it could have been a missed opportunity for us all. These are what I call "teachable moments" and you gave us one! I'm glad I was once again, spot on and simply took a moment to listen to you, validate you and your thoughts, reflect back to you what you said to all of us but in my own words so that you feel heard and understood. (Trained active listening skills anyone? 😳 lol) Yes my friend, I *got your back* and you make it so easy for me to do! 😊❤️ You are consistent and consistently good! ❤️❤️❤️

What you do is incredible hehe. I know everyone has their own unique ways to do this task. If someone still doesn't have one, you'll have one just think about how you'd have liked to be approached yourself. Everyone likes appreciations and asked questions where they would feel understood, appreciated. If you're still confused Fristo will help you find your way hehe with his magnificent, perhaps brain storming questions. 😁
Any work which you do for the team is always more than one would ever expect. You all already remind me of my school days when I used to be tumultuously awestruck to see my classmates always brainstorming themselves and everyone else with plethora of ideas for co-curricular activities. I love to see you guys working that way. All the best to everyone. Hope you all find your own signature invitation ideas and inspire people to be a part of this team 😎💓
