Thanks =)

I like to be mindful that I am still the same as everyone else, just more responsibilities.

@ASilentObserver

Thank you!! <3

As per you, what is one thing a community leader needs to be mindful of?

A community leader needs to be mindful of a few things - the challenges associated with text-based communications; that there are people here from around the world, and that can affect how people react to issues, or how they communicate; that everyone is human, and each experience is valid; that we need to set a good example for everyone that we support and connect with; that we need to be empathetic, patient, and caring.

This is a great group of leaders!

@ASilentObserver

I keep in mind, after I took the Leadership Development Course, to have high expectations and also high warmth. This sticks with me especially in the chatroom. There are higher expectations of those in leadership roles (this includes listeners) to set an example to others This also reminds reminds me that we can encourage members (everyone) to follow guidelines and to be respectful in a kind and warm way. Being to rigid and to obrupt at first can not only shut down the person talking, but also those in room. Keeping in mind communication can come across differently without hearing tone of voice or seeing body language. Also, remember we all of bad days and make mistakes, so keeping grace for everyone.

There is a nice balance and it is okay to make mistakes and be open to feedback. We all have room for growth.
