I have learnt that sharing and finding people in similar situations, communicating and taking practical steps such as recording my thoughts and looking at gratitude and thankfulness are all very good steps to help move forward out of the dark hole of depression and anxiety.

@Chlo89

Recording thoughts. Great idea. You're absolutely right. Way to go. I'm glad that you posted it here. And I'm grateful to it.

@p0lishprincex

One can never get love, respect, unless, one starts to love n respect oneself. you're really true.

@p0lishprincex Which is correct! This is why we find people who accept us for who we are, not to fake how we are for other people to like us heart

I am much too hard on myself.

@Sheb And only you can change that!

Iauren April 11th, 2016

@Sheb There are always pros and cons for being hard on ourselves. Pros is that we are hard on ourselves to make the right choices to which benefit us. Cons is that we are too hard on ourselves and beat ourselves up mentally to the point that we are actually suffering. There's always the right and wrong way to everything, but you can always find the right way to your needs! So proud of you! heart

I decided to take a step. I've been super short with my family and I get angry quick. I'm irritated easy. I'm an extremely happy person that loves to laugh and smile. I have a great day when I make someone's else's day better in someway. I want the anger gone from my life. I miss the carefree part of me.

I have learned how used I am to my depression. I've kind of buid my life around it. It is always hard to change, but I Iwill change anyway. Life is never standing still. The thought of change through breathing is rather nice. I'm learnig to be happier, and slowly accepting the feeling of joy.
