i learned it is possible to feel better
Today I woke up, made myself an avocado milkshake, replied to text messages and made a to-do list for myself.
I don't know you but that sounds like a victory to me
@diligentPear6343 Yay, you! You go, that is an amazing thing even though it might seem like a small one at the moment. Step by step, you got this. Best of luck ![]()
I learned that I shouldn't hid my feelings.
From my friends.
@cookiesncream12 You are right, my friend, hiding your feelings and bottling them up leads to explosions which leads to making you feel worse. It's okay not to be okay, and it's okay to ask for help when you are not feeling okay. Your true friends love you no matter what state you are in, and I'm sure they would be a splendid support to you. All the best ![]()
No matter how bad things get, they can get better and people on here will want to assist you with that.
@Keanan You are very right, buddy! Listeners will always be there for you and try to help you in any way they can. Seeing that you are a teen member, I will be glad to tell you that you can PM me if you ever need someone to talk to. I'm here for you! ![]()
I learned that sugar can cause depression.
Today I learned that sometimes the way I think of things is my own warped version of the truth, and that has greatly contributed to my PTSD
Good realisation that one @PrincessCat. It applies to Depression and Anxiety also. Thank you for sharing :)
I've learned that I find it difficult to truly talk about how I feel. Sometimes I feel like there is no point. I feel stuck
@musicianboi I can understand what you are saying, friend, I think we've all been there and felt just like you do now. Opening up can be a very hard thing to do but it is actually a good thing that can help you feel better about your situation. Sometimes it helps that someone just knows what you've gone through. So, take it easy, step by step, I'm sure you can find someone to open up to, someone with who opening up wouldn't be so hard. It's okay, open up on your own time, when you are ready. Best of luck ![]()
I've learned that taking ur mind off the pain & focusing on other things can be fruitful & feels better.
Pepole take me serious here, it makes me happy
