I learned that I shouldn't be so hard on myself, and that I should work on my mental health issues one step at a time.

Step 100 on a 12 day streak! I've learned to let go of things that are out of my control and be mindfully aware of where I am in any given moment! :)

Yes I still have moments and days where I want to just curl up on my bed and cry my eyes out, especially if I haven't slept the night before because of insomnia, but I am more mindful of how I'm feeling both physically, mentally and emotionally and take it from there.

Gratitude. Be thankful for what you DO have. Things could always be worse.

@GlenM Slowly, but steadily, I have now reached 60th. Sometimes I just feel like rushing thro the steps. I have to keep my patience levels high. My interest has decreased a bit :| I hope I can still continue this.

@DancingSpirit well done getting this far. ☺ maybe to refind that interest you can remind yourself what brought you here in the first place and your main goal?

@DancingSpirit When your interest or energy levels etc decreases, just do an easier thing for you. You can scroll down and click the 'try something else' button, and choose something you might like more that day, such as just looking through your feed/feed boost. I did that everyday simply because it was easy, quick, and made me feel better afterwards. It was rewarding to see the progress when I came back! (When I am unwell, it seems like I am in a bubble and my surroundings are just blurry. When I am better or more able to function, it seems like a lift/elevator arriving at a floor mixed with putting on clean glasses or having less blurry vision. So I kinda jolt back, and then when I see I am 2, 5, or even 10 or more steps higher, it is a bit of a boost. Especially, when you think you've just done nothing, or have just lost the 9, 29, 89, etc days in a row streak!). It also might be worthwhile to do the emotion wellness test, to see if something has happened that is very much different. Different seasons can effect different people differently. Also, there could have been something like an anniversary, or something else occur that has impacted you in ways you didn't suspect. Working out why you have done something or behaved a certain way, when it wasn't the case a week ago or whatever, is really important. And don't stop at 'oh cos I'm like that anyway', why are you like that anyway? When weren't you anything else? What caused the change? What changes you from liking something to not? What are you feeling other than disinterested? Is it actually this that you feel that to? (for example, sometimes people can get angry at an innocent person because someone wasn't nice to them earlier in the day). There is lots about yourself you can learn from this. Are you going to stop because you lost interest? Are you going to continue? If you are continuing, how often (everyday, once every other day, once a week, as needed and when upset, etc)?

Maybe do something a bit more different on the site if you have lost interest. Maybe vent about it to a group chat or 1-1 perhaps (you get points there). Do a self-help course or few for something you think might benefit you, or get you to understand the issue for someone else (you get badges for that). Try looking for a different path available to you as they have different steps to do than the one you might currently be on. Try having a look for what else might be available to create growth points (so you can see progress and achievement by leveling up!), compassion points (so you can see progress and achievement in not giving up by how many heart points you have), how many badges you can get (these might also have some self-help stuff, or just ideas of what to do and they help you with growth points), there are other points types of things too! If in doubt, instead of vlogtober (or any other october related promise or act that may be going on for the entire month), maybe set up a new journal for yourself and title it October. Then come on, do a step, write the date, about what you did, why you chose that, how you are feeling, and why (or your closest guess as to why it could be the case, even if you are totally unsure -maybe have a code for when you are guessing and another when you are really grabbing at anything!). Then at the end of the month, have a read through and see if you notice any patterns.
