I'm at Step 60 now. I think my progress is cyclical, not linear, but it's happening,,,,slowly... I am finding it slightly easier to identify problematic patterns and recognize them when they appear. I haven't really figured out what to do about it yet though. I'm enjoying just trying to keep a routine of taking time out for myself and getting on to 7cups regularly.
You only get 1 go at this. I'm gonna try and make it the best I can.
I learned that it feels good to help other people!
I hope that I can manage my automatic thought process.
Step 410- I've learned that it's okay to take a step back from things to take better care of myself. I've also learned that the pre-enrollment steps for university (as a transfer student) aren't as scary as I thought.
Made it to 50 steps..
I learned to keep my cool and to work at learning to communicate with my wife.
I made it to 50.
Hi everyone, it's me Platy. I've reached step 550 so good time for a "Milestone" post.
I have learned ... while being honest is hard - sometimes very hard - it really is the best way to go.
And in your vulnerability of being honest with really hard things, you may find that you are not as alone in that struggle as you thought. Also people will open up and reflect that honesty back to you, which can be scary. If you stick with it and continue listening, you can learn a lot!
It won't always be fun; it will at times be hard; but honesty truly is the best policy.

P.S. Hugs to all, who need or want one!
I'm on step #1470! I've learned to seek out positive community. I'm learning to try to ask for emotional support when I need it, even though I have a hard time opening up. Also in terms of anxiety, I think I always thought I needed the stress/adrenaline/etc to solve situations, but I am trying to relearn that I can be calm and positive in challenging situations and "choose peace".
Also some meditations I've found have you visualize a warm light or warm hands going through each muscle of your body and relieving tension. I try to also imagine the warm light going through my memories or future plans that stress me out and imagine the light "soothing" those things.
