@GlenM I learned that I have an amazing support group. I felt so alone because I didn't want to bother my friends but then when I finally started talking to them they immediately made me feel better and I realized that some even actually understood a little bit of what I was going through. I'm so glad that I started communicating with them.
I miss my girlfriend. I wish she didn't have to go.
not sure what I'm writing. I learned a few things lately. The main thing is that I learned something.
Step 3000: I have learned to embrace where I am in my life.
I've learned that that the basic and fundamental things about me aren't going to change. BUT...I can still learn to control them more positively. That's the part I have power over.
Step 230... Whoa...
You know. There are many things I've learned this time, especially this month. One of them is that, no matter distance, no matter time, no matter language, if a friend wants to be there for you, they will be there. Things can be rough, really really rough, but everything is better and easier to bear once you know someone's gonna be there for you. I learned that having a friend is more than just knowing someone. That it is okay to feel hopeless sometimes. That you can fall, but you will rise too. And that there are no boundaries when it comes about loving someone.
You cant measure the mutual affection of two human beings by the number of words they exchange. —Milan Kundera.

I have learnt to recognise when I am not in the moment. Using this I understand that I need a few moments for myself to settle my thoughts. I do this so I do not take home negative emotions or thoughts to my family.
Finding support in the groups and appreciating other members. :)
That I am capable of loving myself without the need of others having to tell me why or how. I don't know, it sounds too complicated, but I've been a bit of a GELF throughout my whole life, always trying to be someone else for people around me to please them, to make them like me so I would feel that I have value. Now I am capable of just being myself and being okay with that.
I am learning more about self-compassion and treating myself as a good friend would do.
