I am learning to go a bit slower, be calmer and not fidget

I've learned to let go of 95% of what bugs me -minor daily annoyances, petty grievances - but fight for that last 5% of things, major injustices I see, that go against my morals, that I cannot stand by and just let happen. Some of these 5% for me have included: signing petitions; boycotting products; writing protest letters; saying something when I saw a child abusing a sick seagull; and fighting to regain my seasonal volunteer position that wasn't renewed not due to my incompetence on the job but because I made too many suggestions!

I can actually sit with my emotions and not act on them.

I once thought that impossible.

it indeed, is possible.

@GlenM To accept there are things I cannot change. That I am a good person regardless of how I perhaps choose to perceive myself.

Reach out to others. It's not a sign of weakness but strength.

I am at least now aware of my weaknesses, although I do not know how - I know what to work on.
