Life is never consistent.

Two things I keep on discovering are:
- everybody has their issues and weaknessess
- most of the time, it is all in your head.

Step 84: More focused and I have a plan and direction. Scares the hell out of me, but the best things come from outside of my comfort zone.

Setbacks are a huge disappointment and challenge in recovery but also big opportunities to strengthen compassion and forgiveness

I'm learning that life is a little like a snitch and a bludger (quidditch, Harry Potter). Sometimes it comes sailing at you and knocks you down and sometimes it's that elusive goal that seems out of reach. What I'm really learning though is recovery is possible and so is progress. Making those decisions to recover and proceed and then doing so is where the value of living really is. The bludger is a victory if it didn't totally throw you off your broom and the snitch is a victory when you finally catch it for all the effort you put in to do so.

I've learnt really helpful techniques as to dealing with stress and ways to work through panic attacks such as places to find meditation soundtracks.
