I do NOT have to accept my blood family as family when they are hurtful and harmful to me ( on purpose). There is no excuse for that behavior and I do not have to accept it. It is better to be alone or having a family with one true family member - than to be at the mercy of my blood family that is abuisve to m now and always has been .

Step 5000!

If I do not do something my abusive family wants me to do - and chaos ensues.

It is NOT my fault.

It is Their fault for expecting me to do something they have no right to ask me to endure and siffer though.

What have I learned. Good mental health is an everyday practice. You have to pay attention and practice good coping skills every single day.

Step 1070: I have learned to be more patient with myself and to pace myself more, so things seem more manageable when I have A LOT on my plate.
