i learned to recognize myself as a valuable person.

Finding mental balance has not been easy, emotions come and go constantly. I know it is possible to improve and I have done it but sometimes it is very difficult... But, here we are, fighting day by day to be better. yes

I'm on step 500, and I think the most recent thing I'm learning is that it's not feelings I have to control, it's the unhealthy thoughts that make the feelings worse. I'm still confused about my acceptance lessons here, but it's a work in progress.

I have learned that my biggest struggle is not wanting to get better.... I find comfort in my depression and that makes me feel like a failure. But Ive also learned that there is help for me, I just need to want to change!

Step 370 of my Growth Path! I think since I'm basically living alone now, away from everyone I knew back home, I'm starting to figure out more and more things about myself. It's not easy but it sure is interesting

Step 350

I'm not sure I really accomplished much ... not today, anyway. I'm off of work today but can't really relax and will have to try to get some sleep for the workweekend coming up ... and I only have about 2 and a half hours before I should get to bed. I don't expect that I'll be sleeping too well and I have to be at work at 5AM. indecision

I'm currently in the process of opening up to another one of my listener friends about a difficult time and situation in my life but I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do because at times I am feeling more anxious and tense after posting about it. Opening up for me is not easy because of social anxiety and relationship anxiety ... and the worst thing anyone who is listening to my story about this is imply that I'm overthinking this or being too sensitive about it.

Anyhow ... for now, I'll just keep on keeping on ...

Hi 420. Learning that it is hard to be consistent.

@Zengrl I agree with you. I also learned that. But I guess the most important thing I learned is to accept things.
