@GlenM Something new that I have learned so far in completing my growth path is that it doesn't take much to put positivity into your life. All it takes is perhaps 2 goals to do well in a week and once you complete those 2 goals you feel so good. Positivity isn't hard to come by if we just open ourselves up to it.

I learned that my emotions influence how I percieve things and if I acknowledge and embrace them, I will be able to see things as they really are.

Step 154. I'm learning from my DBT course that it is within my power to build a life worth living. Even building in small moments of pleasure to my day can help me feel less like I am clinging on and barely coping and more like life is worth the struggles.

STEP 400! 👍👍

Im gonna do something uplifting right here on 7 Cups! 😀 Each week, or thereabouts, I am going to post appreciation for 3 people on the Appreciation and Gratitude forum that I feel have made an impact on my week and/or (even more importantly) have made an impact on 7 Cups. This can be something as simple as just posting a positive support message to someone having a bad day. That might not seem like it would make much of a difference but believe me - IT DOES. 👍😊

The #1 thing I have learned from my growth steps is to be patient with my progress.

To be patient with my days, with my moods, and with my reactions.

I can have a totally horrible mood but when I keep perservering, I know things will eventually get better.

I feel that I learned that always thinking negatively will bring negative outcomes. Working on telling your self that you are doing better then you will start to do better in what situation your in. Take deep breaths before thinking about doing whatever it is your thinking of doing. Take time to relax and think about what your going to say or do before it becomes too late when the situation is already too far deep to where you cant get out. If you dig the hole you fell into then you need to get out of the hole and fill the hole with whatever bad that your doing and walk away from the bad situation and never look back.
