Step 430 of my Growth Path! I'm still trying to be less socially awkward, and I'm learning sometimes first impressions don't define a whole relationship. Also, I'm trying to focus on the positive things that I do, instead of a single negative thing.

@mija123 I notice it most when I fly to a conference or meeting. I love airplanes, so I think it is the anxiety of being with a group of strangers.

@GlenM Sometimes you have to risk breaking eggshells while walking on them around someone else in order to put my foot or let someone know I am not okay with what they are doing. Sure they may get nasty but someone like that is going to get nasty regardless.

One thing I've learned from a forum post is that it's okay to not be okay. I didn't learn this from a forum post but a youtuber, but nonetheless I believe it is an important lesson: You are NOT personally responsible for someone else's happiness, no matter what they are going through.

@GlenM that no matter what life throws our way we are able to control and manage and are able to help others along the way

Step 470! I have learned that coping is a skill that can always evolve, and adapting results in growth.

@GlenM not to be so hard on myself and others
