Step 500 of my Growth Path! I'm still surprised when people want to talk to me or spend time with me, but I'm learning to accept that

I learned that I need to take care of my self as well as taking care of other. Because I would not be able to help others if I cannot help myself.

I learned that sometimes the thing we fear is exactly what we need to do. Facing my fears in a gradual and controlled process helped me realize that it's mostly in my head.

Also, acceptance of reality, myself and my environment helped me lower my expectations and as a result get disappointed less.

I haven't been on here for years. I started out on this when I was 15 and I'm back now that I'm 19. I've slipped backwards in my ways and realized that I need help again and that I need to continually make effort to become better. I've learned that it's okay to make mistakes because I can restart again to make myself better.

@GlenM

Not really a thing I've "learned", but more like I'm able to give myself more space in my own life. That means I've been able to shush away the voice that says I'm not good if I do this thing a little bit more, so I'm able to do more of what I want to do without feeling bad.
