Step 530 of my Growth Path! I'm learning to adapt to the different way of working in a new country, and at the same time to be friends with my new colleagues, although I know it's very unlikely I'll work with them more times in the future

@GlenM Since I have started this I have finally come to accept there was nothing more I could do to fix the relationship with my ex an not let him abuse him. I have learned that it is ok to set boundaries and have self care. That although I stayed in our relationship tried to make it work. IT IS NOT MY FAULT. Thank you to the 2 listeners that have been so great with me. Helping me focuse on the small goals!

I just reached Step 50.

I have learnt how important it is to care for others and yourself, and not to treat either one as more important.

I have now made it to 50 on the growth path. I have learned to think positively, take simple healthy steps toward emotional/mental/physical wellness, and let go of worry. Before I began the path I was worrying excessively, dwelling on the negative in my life, and I was too hard on myself. The simple exercises in the growth path helped me with all of those problems. The path has taught me that I may not be able to change my circumstances, but that I can definitely change the way I handle what life throws at me. The path also caused me to reevaluate the people in my life, and to discern whether or not they're good for my recovery.

I am thankful that I discovered 7 Cups, and I will definitely be continuing on the path. :)

I understand now that I am worth help, and I am coming closer to accepting myself for who I am rather than letting my fears and insecurities control me.

Ive learned to forgive those who have wronged me, Ive learned you get nowhere seeking revenge the best revenge is no revenge, ignore your enemies kindness is what kills them. Try to do more exercises to forget the past. Im only focusing on the future. No matter how much youve hurt before you walk with your head high & things will be fine!

@GlenM

I've been able to work on my self-care more consitently than before!

To elaborate on this, as I realized that this doesn't make much sense in context, I've learned that I need to care for myself before I can properly work on other issues around me. It's becoming a crucial part of my life and it's genuinely helping me improve what I think of my life with every small step I take.
