From a Spark of Hope to a Beautiful Transformation: SoulfullyAButterfly

From a spark,

Hope feels silly at the start.

You look for answers,

For someone to define,

For the what and the why,

And an answer,

For a thousand other cries.

Hope is the tiny voice that says,

I get it, your fight.

And you may want to fly,

Away from the troubles of a world,

That doesn’t understand.

But what if just words,

Themselves can carry you and lend a hand?

Trust this spark,

A moment of connection.

Open up your mind,

To the possibilities,

Not of what, when or why.

But why not? 

To find a direction,

A growth spurt of a kind.

Like a butterfly breaking free,

Of fear and uncertainty.

Be a voice of what feels missing

And you will see,

Other souls rise,

To join your fight 

Endless growth is possible if you hope,

Find a spark to hold.

Share a step with someone who can find,

A shared purpose.

For your story is not lost nor will it ever end.

Our words,

Our actions,

Our time.

Transform lives.

Such is the power to change,

Not oneself but a thousand others,

Holding on, intertwined.

In honor of my 8th Cupsversary, this is a reflection on the transformative power of 7 Cups and how we all help each other find hope, connection, and endless growth. 

Words have the power to carry us. When I started writing this reflection/poem, it felt fitting coming from someone involved in content. While active listening is the core of what we do, the words hold significant weight too. 

Growth is an endless journey, and 'transformation' isn't just a word for my own ongoing metamorphosis over these past eight years - it is the perfect word to describe 7 Cups, too. Just as I have found my wings, I have watched this community evolve, shaped by the time, actions, and voices of thousands. I wrote this poem to celebrate that shared journey

Everyone has the power to use their words to support change that has an impact which to me, is almost endless. I look forward to more impact and more shared growth ahead.
