Honoring Cadence's Birthday - 17th April 2015
A few days ago, April 17, 2015, was not only the birthday of one of our amazingly hardworking listeners and mentors, but TWO! So a huge congratulations to both the wonderful @Sarah and awesome @Cadence for being born and gracing us with your awesome presences
Cadence joined our beautiful 7cups family just over a year ago, but it's hard to imagine this community without her! Cadence just brightly sparkles in every way she can in this community, every single moment she is with us! Whether it is being the awesome mentor she is, posting in the forums, or sharing love and appreciation everywhere!. Those who have talked with her know her as a kind and caring person and even those who have not yet managed to have been in contact with her (such as us unfortunately Cadence-deprived teens! :P) know of her lovely sweet self!
So Cadence, thank you so so very much for being here with us for a whole year, and bringing your fabulous sense of love and appreciation to our community! Thank you for being the wonderful human being that you are and being part of our community! Thank you for impacting the lives hundreds and hundreds of people, both members and listeners alike! Thank you for touching the hearts of so many and being a positive influence in so many lives! And most of all thank you so so SO much for being you!
Cadence, you do so much for us here at 7cups so Iara and I decided to get some people together to share some warm birthday wishes for you! There's no doubt surrounding the fact that you've made an everlasting impact on everylife you've touched, and to the whole of our community! Apology #1 - for, of course, the late timing... It's terrible of me I know to post this 3days late and I have no excuse apart from the fact that I've been unwell and thus, unable topost on time. I am SO SO SORRY about this, and I feel so dreadful that I couldn't post this on your birthday and I offer my hugest apologies :( I do hope you can forgive me!
Apology #2 - for the slideshow! I do have to mention that I have no skill in photo editing nor video making and all that techie stuff, and then iMovie decided to stop working... So I had to resort to a slideshow last-minute since I didn't want it to go to waste :/ I'm so sorry! But, well, it's the thought that counts and I hope you do love it!
Apology #3 - for anyone I've forgotten to tag! And for anyone I've sent the form to multiple times by accident, thanks for being so kind about it! And and and, for anyone who I didn't manage to send the form to and wanted to be a part of it! I am SO sorry!

Oh man, so you guys better prepare, because I'm gonna be pretty sappy.
Today I woke up stressed and frazzled. I have an assignment that I very stupidly didn't do until this morning, and it's due at 3 PM. You know, it's a Monday, you wake up those days and it's like "man, I wish I had the weekend back."
First off, I'm honored to even be tagged in stuff, as silly as that seems. It's like "oh man, someone thought about me enough to include me." So that in itself made me happy. But then... Then I just got 19082391802398 times happier. @KeepOnSmiling, my god you are an angel, I'm sure of it. You always manage to jam pack so much love into every statement you utter, and it's just... Amazing. Please never, ever lose that quality.
The slideshow started off some excessive sobbing, and I'm not much of a cryer, but these were purely happy tears. I didn't even know I made an impact on that many people's lives here.
Just know that I am completely and utterly humbled, and that I'm so proud to be immortalized in this way in the Honoring Listeners thread (my favorite thread for many reasons). But do know, that I can't be the best me without you guys here. For each person I talk to, there's something I take away, whether it's something small like a word change, or a different way of talking about something, to a new perspective on the world, much like many of you have been able to offer. Therefore, I am a reflection of you guys. Each and every one of you is amazing, kind and compassionate. You make this a wonderful community to be part of.
So, let's end this post with a bit of a cheer: Cheer's to the next year, because there's still a lot of work to be done.
I am going to take the time to thank each and every one of you, but it might take a while, so be patient with me. It's the least I can do. Have a lovely day, you beautiful flowers.

✿So, being the absent-minded person that I am, I just realised that I didn't actually put my own response in... *coughs ashamedly* I do hope that you'll forgive me @Cadence but I do have an incredibly forgetful memory, ask anyone, so this birthday message/shoutout is for you!✿
Cadence Cadence Cadence omg, I should just repeat the word awesome multiple times because that's what you are! I don't really know what to say to you other than thank you. I'm probably going to saying over and over again words of thanks and trying to tell you how amazing you are so be warned!! Well, everything I say about you is 10000% true but not even a whole essay about your amazingness would ever match up to even 1% of the real thing. There are certain people in this community who completely represent a particular aspect of this site, and you without a doubt symbolise appreciation. Not only do you just seem to radiate with a flowery aura of loving heartfelt appreciation, but you are also one of the most appreciated listeners on this site✸ You go above and beyond the usual listener duty and expand the warmth of your heart to the entire listener community. That's beautiful. Aghh, do you ever get those moments when you have SO MUCH to say but your mind is just too full and goes kaboom blank? I have an endless amount of words for you but they don't seem to want to come out! Probably because I wouldn't be able to only speak a little of your amazingness, but I'm trying!
There are some things in this world that are definite, and you can place all your trust in it knowing that it will not change. One of those things is the greatness you possess. The determination of your will, the love in your soul, and the earnestness you carry with you to make this world a better place. Those are things I see in you frequently and continue to inspire me each and every day, encouraging me to one day be even a small percentage of your brilliance. And if there is even something positive that I had in common with 0.0000001% of you, I'd be ecstatic because it means that I would have something so precious, so rare, so wonderful and so you. The way you spread love in this 7cups family is, needless to say, so effortlessly beautiful and something that never fails to brighten my day. Any time at all your name pops up in the forums, my attention is automatically drawn and I eagerly read (not in a creepy way :o I'm not a stalker :P) your words of wisdom, care and helpfulness! There is so much one can learn from even the smallest action you do Cadence, because every single moment you spend doing even the simplest of tasks is a shining brilliant moment in anyone else's eyes. What you do here for our community is nothing short of pure fantastic, and the position you hold amongst us is something that can never ever be filled. It's so so so wonderful having such a star sparkling here because that's what you are. A star dazzling with brilliance, shining your guiding light upon those who need someone and being a source of inspiration for all. A star of which people look up to and upon viewing, smile and gaze in awe of the wonder it beholds. And you are no less than the biggest, brightest star out there✯✯✯
You do so much for this community that if I hadn't been able to witness your impact with my own eyes, I would have deemed it entirely impossible. You simply overflow with love like a gushing waterfall and even one sentence of yours is a home of appreciation❤It's like you live and breathe appreciation, and the vibrant energy you have in doing so is always such an inspirational trait to me. You give such wise contributions and words of comfort, support and care. And this is just a part of what I see you do. I can't imagine what it is like to see everything you do on this site since the parts I know are already massively impressive!
I read your AMA ages back and looked through your profile, and it just astonishes me. It?s not what you?ve been through that astounds me (although that alone is astonishing) but it?s the strength, perseverance and resilience that you possess in that soul of yours. To get up and carry on so awesomely, making it through each day and making others? days so much happier despite the hardships that you?ve been though?those are some of the highest accomplishments one can achieve and I admire you so much for being able to do so. You really are an inspiration, and with each day passing, you continue to inspire me even more ? as impossible as that may seem to me.
I have so much to say but so little time (total cliche line! :P But PMs are calling me right now?), this is so unfair because I have lots and lots I want to tell you! When I eventually join the adult side, just wait, I'm sooooo going to bomb you with love in your PMs! So be ready! The teen side is completely fabulous and so awesome, but we are only missing one thing ? a Cadence amongst us. The adult listeners are so so so so lucky!
Thank you so much for everything you do for us. I could repeat my thanks a billion, zillion, trillion times over yet it wouldn?t be enough to grasp my gratitude nor would it ever be enough to thank you. I?m not going to type dozens of lines thanking you for being so awesomely appreciative, so wonderfully kind, so loving and caring etc, which you definitely are but I?m just going to take a shortcut and say thank you for being your amazing self because that just wraps up all the positively brilliant things that you are! I?ve said this so many times already, but we are so so blessed to have you in our community and I can?t get over how lucky we are! I have the highest ever respect, love and admiration for you and you?re seriously such an inspiration that I look up to so greatly ? I hope to learn from your footsteps of pure awesomeness!

@Cadence I hope that you know that I didn't write all that for you for the sake of getting a thank you back :P All I genuinely wanted was to give you some of the thanks and appreciation you deserve (though I did so quite insufficiently, apologies for that!) and brighten your day, and make you smile too :-) I did mean every word of it and it even making your day a little teeny bit happier is enough for me; I don't want you to go to the trouble of writing something back as if you owe me something!
