I just thought I’d make a little thread today because… today is "Birds Day" 🐦 And yes, as a birdie and a bird lover, I couldn’t wait to start this little chirping celebration. ✨ I love birds, they genuinely make me so happy. And I’ve also noticed there are so many birdies here at 7 Cups too, bringing positivity, chirps, comfort, and smiles to everyone’s day 💖

Happy Birds Day! This is such a sweet lil post, thank you for sharing it. I love love love rotund birds, they're so friend-shaped. Birds make me think of loved ones in a way that I hadn't really known before responding to this. One of my friends has this pigeon friend that sits on his shoulder. My boyfriend loves crows and feeds them by the seaside. My sister and I are always on the search for red-chested robins. Birds are just so delightful and a lovely presence and reminder of all things light and beautiful.

Fav bird gotta be crows/ravens maybe seagulls they both are intellegent and kinda remind me of raptors in a way, honestly any bird is cool

Falcons too merlin falcons are small so they look cute but still got the power of a falcon aha 😅 seen sum and theyre pretty cool think they symbolize strength and a fierce spirit so yeh

Red Kites have been reintroduced locally. I always stop and just admire them soaring, it is a real pleasure seeing them thriving.
@RunningMachine awww this is lovely 💛 those peaceful moments of admiring oooh 🌟 Love it. We have so many here as well not the red ones but yes the black kites and they are like wandering around above our heads nonstop 24/7 🤣🤣🤣 I gotta show you my bestie who visits me almost every day whenever I am at workplace 😆💛

A few years back I used to go on a couple of local walking paths armed with a camera and failed miserably many times to get a few decent shots. They have gradually increased in numbers and seems to be everywhere now, when the winter eases a little I'll remember okay some shots for you.

I thought of you earlier, whilst washing dishes i noticed 10 -12 red kites in the distance, i watched them for a few minutes but they were too far away for photos, i thought of this post, next time 😉
