Heap Lots of Sweet Kindness on @Shygirl2828
Hey all,
I have not been able to be active here because I live in anxiety most of the time.
I have a fear of failing at my job. I feel I am not good enough and have delayed a work deliverable. I now feel I will fail here and will be fired very soon.
I have always had imposter syndrome but o have recently started after a career break and i am really lacking in confidence.
If I lose this job I lose hope in any future because u know this failure will remind me of failing again in any next job I take up.
I am tired of living in anxiety. If u think of picking up another job nothing comes to mind because I feel that with the confidence that I have o will fail at anything. Else that I pick up .
So somehow i have to rise up and fight against myself to survive this job.
Please let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions. I need to win this fight against myself.
@Shygirl2828 Do you try to ground yourself before you leave for work? Breathing exercises help sometimes too. I prefer box breathing And the 3 3 3 grounding has helped. Identify 3 objects, 3 sounds and move 3 body parts. Splashing your face with cold water can help too but that might be a problem for someone who wears makeup. You can even try to shake it off. Like a dog shakes off water, this can help with anxiety too.
You've got this! We believe in you! 💜
Thank you so much for responding. Will try these.
Thank you 🙏
@Shygirl2828 You're welcome! Please don't get to discouraged if they don't work too well at first. It can take some practice. I hope they help!
