You have $5,000 to spend on someone you love, what would you do with the money?

Give them the money to do as they please. Over the years I’ve understood that rather than the gifts, they appreciated the money or gift voucher more (my mother, husband, MIL, kids) .. so that they could go shopping and spend it as they please.
so I’ll give the money in an Ang-pow (colourful paper envelopes)

I would send my kids on a vacation, maybe a cruise so they can relax and hopefully de-stress.
I'll donate to some needy people / to church. as God told to love your neighbour as your self..
