The Ripple Effect of Positivity
I used to think one bad day defined me, until I discovered how even the smallest acts of positivity could create ripples of change 🌊. I started by sharing a smile 😊, jotting down a moment of gratitude 🙏, and treating myself kindly—and slowly, my days began to brighten ☀️. Every positive thought opened up new opportunities and transformed my life bit by bit. What’s one small positive moment that turned your day around? Share below and let’s spread those good vibes! ✨

Oooh yes ripples of positivity, the domino effect of one kind or positive act is definitely a thing and blessed are those who are open to the idea of trying and embracing it, I feel!
Super happy to hear you were able to turn your day around! 🥰
I usually do this too, like a "forced" self care or positive activity/ ritual, because let's be honest, some days are really really hard and it's okay to not want to even get up from your bed but here's the "twist" that can make a lot of difference~ exactly when you "feel" you don't want to get up.... Get. Up.
You don't even have to fully get up and start walking or something but even switching your posture and telling your mind that "hey mind, I am in control of you, and not you of me" and there that is it, it's a reverse signal to our brain that it's no longer in full control and that we will make an effort to "challenge" it when it tells us to do/ not do something. The challenge here is simply becoming aware if something's good/ not good, needed/ not needed etc for us. Once our brain gets more "use to it", it'll start signaling us more "positively", instead of working "against" us, now it starts to work "with"/ "for" us and the ripple effect continues!
The key is patience, self-belief and the will to try and be open to a possibility.
Having said that, sometimes it's okayyyy to listen to our mind and body and catch a breather. Don't have to go all warrior mode always I believe hehe, sometimes just accepting that we need to feel something or take a break from something is much much more impactful as well.💛

Love this post! One small step was realizing that even after I failed/messed up on my goals- that I didn’t have to shame myself. And could start new. Letting go of the shame can be a strong way to break out of a negative cycle that keeps perpetuating. Be free! Let go of the shame! Move forward and don’t give up on your goals 💯✨🦋
@CompassionCompass i totally get what you mean and you've expressed it perfectly 😊 When we are having a bad day or worse in the grips of depression and are in a really dark place, our thoughts are overwhelming and don't aid how we feel. It is so draining so naturally out go to us stay in bed, don't do anything and lie with our thoughts. We feel exhausted, low and even our lack of hygiene makes us feel worse but we still can get through the fog. That's why it is the little things and the little achievements that pull us through our day. Getting up, having breakfast, having a shower, going for a walk, writing in our journal, spending time doing art or gardening, cooking or preparing a small meal, small tasks but monumental when things are not good. By breaking them into small manageable tasks, they become doable, less overwhelming and make you feel better in yourself whilst building your confidence. It's vital to use good words to speak to yourself at all times 🥰
