also I am having summer plans with friends, and I have an upcoming trip to Oregon to see my aunt, and uncle and cousins
wanted to say those things because on the flip side of my life, I am dealing with trauma and mental health disorders. this is proof that life is not all one thing. both can coexist. I am in pain and I am free.

That can be really hard - to have a lot of fun going on on the outside but have some darkness perhaps and struggles on the inside.

Same exact spot here. Ups and downs. I got almost everything in life I thought I wanted (minus my own family). But it hasn't really made me happy. It comes in bursts. From what I understand happiness always comes in ebs and flows. There will be good times and there will be bad times. I like to think of it like an musical album. Some of the songs will be happy, some sad. But this is life. It's all part of it. I listen to all of the songs because it's part of my story
