This Cupsgiving week, we are all about celebrating kindness in action.

Sometimes the smallest words of appreciation can leave the longest-lasting impact. Today, we invite you to slow down, take a breath, and write a Kindness Letter: a short note of gratitude or encouragement for someone in your life or even for yourself!

You can write to:

💙 A listener who made you feel heard

💙 A member who supported you

💙 A friend, family member, or someone you appreciate

💙 Yourself, if you need a reminder of your own strength and kindness

Your letter doesn’t need to be long or perfect. Just honest.

Here are some questions to help:

Who has shown you kindness recently, and what would you like to thank them for?

Or what do you want to gently remind yourself of today?

Feel free to post your message below. You can keep names private if you prefer or can tag the relevant users.

a big thank you to all the ones helping out in cups, but this time, not the ones with leadership badges, but for those who go above and beyond without any of them.

thank you, all of you. i'm not tagging anyone in case someone might not like it--- but i do see you all. you guys keep the spark alive in the background. some of you have been around for so long helping so many members it's honestly impressive!
and a big thank you to the members who actively try to help and be there for others despite their own struggles. you all rock, okay?💚

I would like to thank my managers at work (Kevin, Jarra, and Jackson) and my amazing team of coworkers.

Kevin - You are so supportive, encouraging, funny, and understanding. Your support and encouragement means the absolute world to me. When I'm having an off day, you're always checking in and pushing me to work harder.

Jarra- Your patience, understanding, guidance, and grace are something to be admired. You are such a wonderful leader, boss, and amazing person to know! I am thankful that you understand my MH struggles and work well to accommodate my needs.

Jackson- Thank you for making me laugh and smile. Thank you for keeping me grounded and busy. Thank you for showing me that even though work is chaotic, I have a wonderful team and managers supporting me. You lead well, you manage others well, and you inspire me to work harder.

To my team at work- Thank you for finding ways to support me and keeping me calm when it gets busy/chaotic. Thank you for always being willing to teach me, help me, and train me. Thank you for working well together, so that I can lock in and work hard. Specifically thank you to Abi, Tyler, Javier, Yvette, Edwin, Chester, and Marcella. Y'all are the real deal, y'all inspire me to work hard. I appreciate the opportunity to work with such amazing, kind, cool people.

I want to thank everyone for every kind act they have done,
for every kind word they have shared and for the willingness to keep sharing kindness.
Kindness is free, but it's also something that not many get. So, I always share kindness
wherever I can. And I am truly grateful for every single person who does the same.
There isn't a kind act that is too small or too big, every kind act is just right,
so I'm taking this moment to feel gratitude towards every kindness that has
been gifted to me, through endless support, shared laughter, hugs, by just simply being there.
I am always thankful for the existence of kindness, to every single person who shows it.
Thank you for being you, because we all need kindness and you bring it.

✨💙✨

My letter to a friend:

My dear Labella,

I was thinking about you today and wanted to write this down.

I know you’ve had a really rough year, carrying the weight of so much, and I just needed to tell you what I see.

I see your kindness, the way you extend care and understanding to others, even when you're running low on it yourself. I see your bravery, not as an absence of fear, but as the profound courage it takes to face each day with your history

I see your logical mind, working so hard to make sense of things that are often senseless, and your growth mindset, that stubborn, beautiful part of you that insists on trying to heal and move forward, even when it feels impossible.

I know you sometimes look at these qualities and think, "These are just symptoms. This is just the dissociation or the CPTSD." But I want to offer a different thought: What if these are your strengths that have learned to express themselves even through the language of your struggles?

Your kindness is no less real because you've known pain. Your bravery is no less profound because you are also afraid. Your logic and your desire to grow are the very tools that are helping you navigate this incredibly challenging journey.

They are not *just* symptoms, Labella. They are the core of you, shining through. They are the evidence of your resilient spirit.

So today, I hope you can take a moment, just one quiet breath, and receive this message: You are doing a hard thing, and you are still here. You are valued, you are strong in ways you don't always give yourself credit for, and you deserve every ounce of the kindness you so freely give to others.

With so much admiration and support,

A Friend Who Sees You
