Kindness Letters Activity

This Cupsgiving week, we are all about celebrating kindness in action.
Sometimes the smallest words of appreciation can leave the longest-lasting impact. Today, we invite you to slow down, take a breath, and write a Kindness Letter: a short note of gratitude or encouragement for someone in your life or even for yourself!
You can write to:
💙 A listener who made you feel heard
💙 A member who supported you
💙 A friend, family member, or someone you appreciate
💙 Yourself, if you need a reminder of your own strength and kindness
Your letter doesn’t need to be long or perfect. Just honest.
Here are some questions to help:
Who has shown you kindness recently, and what would you like to thank them for?
Or what do you want to gently remind yourself of today?
Feel free to post your message below. You can keep names private if you prefer or can tag the relevant users.
It's kindness so I gotta tag you @AnnaSilverberg 🥰
I have a current boss that always shows kindness and goes above and beyond to make sure we are all being heard 🙌🏻
@addtwd Awww, that's so sweet! Yayyy to your kind, amazing 👏 boss!

Dear Mom,
I’ve learned how to be kind from you. The very word kindness reminds me of you. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to tell you how much I love you, but you know it.. right? It’s in the way you ask me about my day when I come back from university, or when you suddenly call me my love out of nowhere (something so rare in our culture), it makes my day, every day.
You show me kindness and love constantly, even though sometimes I feel you deserve someone better than me (not this walking lost-and-found). You’re so selfless that it often makes me cry. I just hope that someday, I’ll be able to give you the same kindness and love you’ve always given me, if not the same, at least something close to it❤️

I've been shown kindness by my father, who always listens and has my back, no matter what 💖💜

dear Joyce
thank you for being kind to us for showing us not all people will judge us and treat us badly even with the flaws we have you shown us a lot of kindnes by giving us rides to small group offline that does things to help others in the community' this has helped us a lot to be around other women offline and to be accepted within the group we very blessed to have you in our life
@SoulfullyAButterfly This will be my 2nd time doing this. The first time was when my therapist in group asked the members to write a letter to ourselves. I now choose to do this on my own.:
I Wanna to thank you for all you try to do. You keep fighting no matter what "storms" come your way, no matter how far down it may take you, you refuse to give up. You dust yourself off and try again. Your kindness isnt always appreciated or accepted yet you continue to do all thats in your power to reach out and help someone whether it be a smile, holding the door open, buying food or simply giving the last change you may have to help another human being. I appreciate everything you are as a person and know that you will always to be better in all the tomorrows than what you were of yesterdays gone by. Keep it up you have done great thus far and will improve more as days go by.l
Dear husband,
I know it’s been hard with me, in the end my past was just completely corrupted and if I didn’t have you, I would lose myself and I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks to you I found God and so many other wonderful things in the world. I appreciate the way Im and you make me love myself more than ever before. I’m very grateful for you and I’m very sorry for my past. I would never do those things again, I think you know that.
Having a clear page with you, where can I start completely new life is everything I wanted and I am Happy you give me this opportunity and chances in life. Thank you for not giving up on me.
I love you so much, my husband.
Your wife

I want to remind myself to be kind to myself. I have no problem being kind to others. I have deep love and respect for family, friends, sentient beings, mother earth and the divine. However I often don't extend lovingkindness to myself. This usually manifests in the form of self recrimination. I battle against perfectionism while striving for excellence. The compassion I extend to others I want to reserve some for myself. I support I give to others I want to give some to myself. The hope I share with others I want to share some with myself. I am already perfect because I am perfectly me. There is no one like me. I am unique as the new day. I am just becoming the best version of that. When I help myself, I help others.

To my everything ❤️,
Thank you for being there for me and giving me a 🫂🤗 when I needed it most. Thank you for being the only person in the world in that moment that could understand and soothe my anxiety. I sit and think how blessed I am to have you. You truly are my greatest gift from God and I love and appreciate you. I will only ever pick and choose you. You being there for me and still caring for me during my worst times is one of the kindest things you choose to do. It's the actions that say ❤️ you. And I always and forever will love you.
Love, me

I'm so happy that you are there for yourself and show yourself the kindness
that you not only truly deserve but need as well!
💞Thank you for being you 💞
