🌸🌱 Hello, beautiful Positivity and Gratitude community! 🌱🌸

springtime-typography.gif

I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude as I witness nature's transformation once again. The sight of trees adorned in fresh green leaves, the fragrance of blossoming flowers serve as a reminder of the endless cycle of life and the promise of hope that spring brings 🌼

As we celebrate this season of renewal, I invite you to reflect with three icebreaker questions:

  1. What's your favourite springtime activity that brings you the most joy?
  2. Which springtime sight or sound never fails to put a smile on your face?
  3. If you could plant a garden full of any flowers this spring, which ones would you choose and why?

🐦 Let's embrace the beauty of spring together and fill our hearts with gratitude for the wonders of nature. Here's to a season filled with positivity, growth, and endless possibilities. Happy spring, dear friends!

What's your favourite springtime activity that brings you the most joy?

Just being able to be in a natural setting and see the landscape come alive with plant growth

Which springtime sight or sound never fails to put a smile on your face?

Some of the first flowers which spring up every spring are white daisy-like flowers, yellow dandelions, and these pretty violet flowers. The combination of colours along with the green grass coming back is very beautiful

If you could plant a garden full of any flowers this spring, which ones would you choose and why?

I'd grow native wild flowers, so that the variety promotes the well-being of the local pollinators and insects, which supports the local birds and other animals. Native flowers can help fix nitrogen in the soil and have deeper roots to encourage the replenishing of the local water table. They're not invasive, they sequester carbon from the atmosphere (which is especially beneficial near roadways), they're budget friend, low maintenance, and they increase biodiversity.

If I could, I'd spread them all over in a big shaker. :)

@Zeraphim Your appreciation for nature is truly heartwarming. The sight of those first spring flowers sounds truly enchanting, the vibrant colours contrasting with the greenery must be a sight to behold. It's no wonder they never fail to bring a smile to your face! Your choice to plant native wildflowers reflects a thoughtful approach to gardening. It's inspiring to see your passion for creating a space that not only brings joy to you, but also contributes positively to the surrounding environment. Thank you for sharing!

@Mya000

The activity that brings joy in spring time is hiking 🚶‍♀️,  the springtime sight is the Sunrises in the morning, the little butterflies in the garden, & hopping frogs

If I could plant a garden full of flowers, I will grow dandelions!

I feel I need to be up and doing all the things but I still also feel half stuck in winter. I have no idea what to do except try and embrace this coming out of hibernation in-between time.

@communicativePond1728 It's completely understandable to feel that way. Transitioning from winter to spring can sometimes feel like a slow process. Embracing this in-between time sounds like a great approach. Take it one step at a time, and remember to be kind to yourself along the way. You're doing great! 🌱

  1. What's your favourite springtime activity that brings you the most joy?
  2. I think I just like opening up the windows and letting the warmth of the outside come inside.
  3. Which springtime sight or sound never fails to put a smile on your face?
  4. The birds singing - it's so quiet for a lot of winter and then all of a sudden everyone outside is just singing all day!
  5. If you could plant a garden full of any flowers this spring, which ones would you choose and why?
  6. I love tulips and hyacinth and daffodils.  Of course, those have to be planted in the Fall, but I love to see all the bulb flowers pop up in the springtime.

@Mya000

If others ask me which is my favorite season when I was a little child, I would probably answered summer, but if anyone ask me now, I would say Spring without any hesitations! I love and appreciate spring so much! As for the questions, these are my answers:

  1. What's your favourite springtime activity that brings you the most joy?
  2. I would probably say viewing cherry blossom! I am currently living in a place full of cherry blossom and I cannot think of any greater activity than that!
  3. Which springtime sight or sound never fails to put a smile on your face?
  4. The sound of the river! During winter, the water in the rivers are frozen, hearing the water start to make sounds again really make me cheerful.
  5. If you could plant a garden full of any flowers this spring, which ones would you choose and why?
  6. I would choose to plant iris as they are purple and purple is my favorite color!
