Hello, I'm new to this community. I hope that through the presence here that I can become a more positive person. I've always had problems with automatic negative thoughts when others (mainly my mother) speak to me, which 99% of the time, I get upset and depressed. I know these automatic negative thoughts will take more effort than just being a part of this community, but I hope it will be able to give me more guidance in the positive direction. Other than the problem in this aspect, I've been working on being more positive in other ways. I find that sometimes, it takes me awhile to digest a situation, and until I look back to reflect about it, I'll see the positive side of it. I'm a bit slow in this realization. As that automatic thought always comes first, and I'm not able to control it to a point where I do say something upon frustration.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happiest moment this month: I had been working from last summer and end of January, so the happiest moment is to finally know I'll have a break from work.
New passion this month: Rekindled a previous passion that I had brushed aside a couple of years ago.
Change and goal done this month: Upon rekindling the passion, I've decided to take it more seriously and work on it as much as I can.
Obstacle overcame this month: Can't think of one.
Sorry for the long introduction, and thank you for listening~
Hello,
Thank you for the warm welcome to the community.
The happiest thing which happened this month was having a spa day & movie night with my friend.
