A Small Smile Today

Having a normal moment. Being able to try to go to sleep without fear or anxiety.

So far this morning, I’m smiling because I woke up on time, I have energy and I’m getting my work done without feeling overwhelmed. I’m happy that I’ve put energy into planning/organizing my work more and I’m able to bang out notes early so I won’t feel behind later on.

@compassionateWaterfall4555 It was more so funny when I was in my child development class on Tuesday, the preschool that is connected to the child development center, their playground area is right behind our classroom. so during the entire class hour from 9 35am to 10 55 it was just constant screaming from the playground. At one point, someone was having a tantrum cause they weren't getting their way, but I swear it felt like it was preschool screaming convention 2026 that day lol

@compassionateWaterfall4555 the one small thing that made me smile is a couple of weeks ago when I was extremely snowed in a neighbor who I don't really know came over and helped dig my driveway so I could get out. And did it with a smile.

My 3 years old cousin said that she wants to talk to me it's made me so happy.

a comment to someone's post, who had a desperate need to be in romantic relationship right after a break-up but couldn't seem to be able to find anyone and some people strated giving step by step advice on what to do and not, my favourite advice in the comment section was: maybe get a pet ... for which I replied, maybe first get a plant... XD it maybe me laugh, I know it's actually not bad advice, there's a psychology behind it, but it still maybe me laugh bc of certain goofy videos, especially about dating, that will start with "try keeping a plant alive" then and only then get an animal and it the animal survives then you can upgrade to a human.
