🦕For Pete’s sake Conflict Resolution🦕
what we are saying so we talk louder and faster or even type faster.
So, Pete and Malu sat down and decided to do a fun informative post on how to
find a way to fix that with conflict resolution.
Yaas✨✨✨
because we can always use a "How to" guide to go by
🦕🐨🦕
1. Cool Your Jets, Dino-Style!
Take a Deep Breath: Before you stomp your feet, Pete counts to 10.
Imagine blowing out candles on a giant dino-sized cake –
it really helps to calm those prehistoric nerves!
2. Speak Your Truth (Without Roaring!)
Use "I" Statements: Instead of accusing,
Pete says, "I feel stomped on when you move my treehouse snacks,"
not "You always steal my ferns!" It's about how you feel.
3. Listen Up, Like a Dino Detective!
Hear the Whole Story: Put on your invisible listening cap!
Pete waits to hear both sides before he starts tail-flipping.
No interrupting, just understanding.
4. Find Your Common Ground
Spot Shared Interests: Pete and his pal love sunbathing on boulders.
Finding something you both enjoy can help smooth out even the scaliest squabbles.
5. Take a Time-Out (Not a Time Machine!)
Step Away to Cool Down: If tempers are flaring, Pete takes a walk through the forest.
Give yourself space to calm down before trying to talk things through again.
6. Say Sorry and Mean It
A Heartfelt Apology: A genuine "I'm sorry" from a dino can soften even the crunchiest conflict.
Pete even adds a flower from his favorite meadow to show he means it.
7. Lean on an Ally
Seek Wise Counsel: If things get really tricky,
Pete chats with a wise old turtle or a trusted adult dino.
They can help you see both sides of the issue.
8. Lighten the Mood (Gently!)
A Touch of Humor: Sometimes a goofy joke or a funny face from Pete can break the tension.
Laughter can be like a magic twig, snapping through difficult moments.
9. Agree to Disagree
Respect Different Tastes: Not every dino likes pineapple on their pizza.
Pete learns it's okay to have different opinions and still be awesome friends.
10. Make Up and Move On!
Dino-High-Five It! Pete caps it off with a high-five, ready to leave the problem
in the tar pits and go build a sandcastle together.
Put the past behind you and enjoy the present!
We are all capable of finding a way to co-exist, Pete and Malu believe in you!
Thank you for being the wonderful spark of amazement that you are!

@AnnaSilverberg I absolutely enjoyed reading this thread! It is adorable yet so informational and easy to understand. <3 We are all different and that is ok! But no matter how different we are, no matter what we can't agree on... we should all be able to still show respect to one another. That is so important. Thank you so much for making this "how to" guide to help us when it comes to resolving conflicts due to differences. I hope we all take something from it and apply it in the future when we are faced with a problem. <3
PS: To just my throw my 2 cents in here-- yes, yes, yes, pineapple definitely goes on pizza! Mmmmm. That's all, folks. Lol. Anyway, love you my beautiful twin. Xoxo.
I agree with you, often the most simple ways are the most
effective ones, it's all about showing understanding and respect.
Not only for ourselves, but others around us.
Ps. Yes, pineapple does go on pizza 😆
✨💙✨
@YourCaringConfidant here some pizza XD
@Moonlight52 Ommmmggggg, yesss! You are the best! Mmmmmm, pineapple, ham, and bacon on my pizza... yes please! Mmmmmm, yummmmy! *gobbles all the pizza* *nom nom nom*

@YourCaringConfidant
Hehe 🤭🤭🌷 enjoy your pizza:bb
@Moonlight52 Thanks so much! I definitely will. Enjoy your non-pizza, lol. You see why differences can be such a great thing? More for me and the pineapple pizza lovers. Hehe. <3
@YourCaringConfidant loll yesss the more pizza you eat the less pizza ill have to face too !🤭😂
@AnnaSilverberg
Pete and malu are really wise :0 both full of sheeepness too 🐑😛
It's really important things to know lots of times chat dynamics gets overwhelming on who's right or wrong wich one is better side even though there isn't right or wrong in first place just some meanie misunderstanding trying get in between ppl XD is really good to remember that we need to listen to ppl same way we want to be listened for, even if person invalidate me is probably not their intention, so while i try tell them how invalidated i felt but also try validate how they felt and make sure they know am not trying blame them. ( Know that was bit random but it's something see a lot in rooms just post reminded me of 😛😂)!
Alsoo pete XD it's okay not like pineapple on pizza 😭 i don't even like pizza 😛
Thanks for post pete and malu and wise sheep :b

Aww Moon 💓🌙🐑💓
I'm so glad that you liked the post,
Pete and Malu sure do have a lot of wisdom to share 🤗
It's completely understandable to get confused when we see a
conflict happening, it's like everything turns into a whirlwind 🌪️
And you're absolutely right, it most likely isn't their intention to invalidate
how you feel or what you're saying, they're upset and they forgot to listen too.
It might help to bookmark this and send this in if something like that happens 🤔
But I also like how you are amazingly willing to show understanding and giving both
persons the space to express themselves, that's often how conflicts are resolved.
And sometimes we do need them oldies to step in, and that's perfectly okay too 💜
✨Thank you so much for sharing ✨
✨💙✨
@AnnaSilverberg dif will bookmark it XD maybe they'd get distracted by how cute pete is forgot what they fight about 😛😂
@AnnaSilverberg
What a wonderful.
Highly effective, informative, fun and creative post 💕
Thank you 🥰
@Torean
Read number 9 ;)
Psh, I was gently nudging you into trying grilled peaches instead. 😁
My conflict isn't with you though. It's with my friends who were so kind as to let me stay with them for a month, yet fed my broke self on ruined pizza. 😜
I’m still not sold on peaches as a pizza topping lol
Ruined???? Ruined????????? Hehe
You don't have to be sold, just try it on a trial period. Preferably not, like, canned peaches though... Real peach slices. 😁
Lol, yes. Ruined. You can pick off the pineapple, but the pizza remains tainted.
Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading the post.
Have a nice day!😀
