I like the familiarity in this place, there's an established comfort zone with the surroundings and it feels nice and "at home". Besides ofcourse loved ones, friends and family, people I've known for a while, all the memories. ❤

i think what i like most in my city is the place where the big river (its like a really really big one going through several cities here) meets the shore and its kind of sandy / beachy. it looks amazing. i should visit that place more often! thanks for the reminder :)
Hey @AveryLove! I really loved reading this reply :) not too many places have phenomenal rivers running right through them, your place must have quite a unique beauty to it
I love the beach side with its numerous restaurants and tiny cafes,some exhibition or music festival going on with street vendors selling these huge colorful balloons,toys,glow in the dark items, trying to attract children by playing a flute like the Pied piper of Hamelin,numerous stalls selling ice cream,fried foods that are absolutely bad for you,the cacophony of humanity,the feel of the warm salty air,the occasional waft of something fishy,with the sound of crashing waves in the background while the sky looks like a resplendent work of art.
There are some quiet beaches too but this is something special.

The activities, the colours, the people even the air make it was it is, it's so beautiful to see how much you appreciate that ☺️

I'll say it's the yogurt! I love yogurt and our towns yogurt is famous and well-known in all over our country (:
@youcancallmeLili Yoghurt is certainly an interesting feature of a town! It must be unique to have a famous yoghurt, I bet it's good :)
Nothing this place sucks, everything sucks
The closeness to the ocean. The small and historic downtown area. The many many hiking trails in the woods
@peacecat it sounds like there's a lot to love where you are :) the historical feel and closeness to nature in both the ocean and forest must be quite special 💙
@KatieTheBigRockOne I live in the mountains so everything is peaceful and quiet. There's alot of wild life around and it's nice to see all the baby animals in the spring and hear the frogs and crickets at night when the weather is warm. In winter - there's a stillness especially after it snows that is just amazing
@mytwistedsoul Being able to live in the mountains must be a very uniquely beautiful thing; especially being so surrounded by nature and the peacefulness of it. I hope you get the enjoy the winter stillness when it comes again :)

I love having the four seasons where I live. If you don't like the current weather, wait a while and it will probably change. Fall and spring are my favorites, where it isn't too hot and isn't too cold.
@pineapplepeanut I can agree! I especially like autumn and spring too, having distinct seasons can be very refreshing, having them change must be a nice experience :)
@KatieTheBigRockOne When I was in college in a town far away from here, I promised I would someday live in this town, and here I am. I love it here because of the beautiful canyons and green trees, and the water. W/O saying the name of the town, I will just say it is the best town I have ever lived in. Less than 2 blocks from my apartment is a nature trail that follows a beautiful rocky canyon with green trees (unless there is no rain). When there is rain, down in the canyon are beautiful waterfalls everywhere. It is heaven on earth. Thanks for listening!
