It is hard when you lose a close relative even friend....how you deal with it and what may remind you can be everyday or you may at some times not think about it and that is ok too.
Grief is different for many and some may not show on surface that it still bothers them etc. There is no time line or end goal for grief.
Grief is not comparative. Some people fall apart instantly while others it really hits later....in their own way... it does not mean they do not miss her and wish she had not passed etc. Some people seem to hang on to the grief... maybe because they do not think others have grieved enough so they will grieve harder. Remember the best of her and things important to you... take that with you everyday share great stories with those who will listen.

Hello, thank you so much for sharing with us what you're going through. I lost my grandfather back in 2019 and I can definitely relate to what you have written here. It can be hard when it seems like other family members have moved on and now you're left grieving on your own. I know from experience, some people rather ignore someone's existence after they pass as it is too painful to talk about. Do you have anyone in your family who you can talk with about your loss and your feelings? It does not even have to be about the loss, sometimes it helps to just talk to someone about the good memories.

Hi Chantel,
Losing a grandparent is so very hard, especially when it’s unexpected and you think they are getting better. How have you been coping with your loss so far? Do you have a favorite memory of her that you would like to share?
