If you feel you can share - What do miss the most about your lost loved one?
It can be so difficult to talk about our loved ones, I do understand ❤️ but I've found writing in this forum really helpful.
I miss his very presence in the room, just knowing he was there, and I can't seem to fully get over this.
I'd love you to share if you can.

Aww same, the presence of a loved one is the hardest to get over, or even to accept their absence no matter how much time passes.
Something else is their voice, warmth, time spent together.❤

I miss the smell of soap she carried wherever she went. Her smile when she greeted me by name, he happiness whenever I brought her flowers. The most amazing food she cooked that no one else can, the tantalizing smells and colors, and tastes, and how she would give some to the dog when no one looked because dogs deserve good food and love too. I miss how she would always give me seconds because I looked too thin. I miss the warmth of her hands and the smoothness of her skin when I held her, and hearing her steps when she walked around the house. I miss many things. I miss her.

I miss the way she loved me unconditionally. I can't even remember what it felt like anymore.

I miss his hugs, him dancing in the kitchen, his laughter, his endless supply of humbugs. I miss the stories from his childhood and the Jamaican coconut rice he would always make for my birthday. I miss my grandad more than words could ever describe.
While I definitely know I’ve grown and become more mature since the loss. I miss who he was and how he supported me. I miss every time I saw him remembering how I fought for him and it wasn’t a given that he was mine; I don’t think i ever took him 100% for granted no matter how comfortable we got with each other because I never 100% forgot that it was a challenge to make our relationship happen. I miss how docile and kind he was, his demeanor, that “anyone who knew him loved him” type personality. I miss him supporting my passions and coming over even if he had to work the next day and just got off late. I miss the way he went out of his way to take care of me.

ive lost many people but i still miss him the most, he brought a presence into a room, he was hilarious, an offensive man but super funny, i miss his singing the most, when i was a baby he would play this one guitar and his favorite song to me, now that same guitar sits in my room before i move out. I miss his voice the most, his singing just brought me happiness and cured my soul

It's been only four months grieving my love of 34 years ... Right now I'm really missing our daily kisses. We started our day and end our day with a kiss. There were a lot of wrongs in our relationship, but towards the end we finally got it right. I'm really missing him. Thank you for letting me share here.
His intellect. My father's, specifically.
My old man died in the early 2000's but that wasn't the worst thing to happen to him. Physical death is sometimes the lesser cause of grief. He had a heart attack in '01, & was never the same after that. Senility & health issues can change a person completely...they changed my father, & not for the better.
Before all that he was a brilliant man. I don't think he was technically a genius (to be that you need an IQ of 180+) but his was a mind that was definitely above average. I don't have quite the mental horsepower he had--wish I did!--but, in all honesty, for a few years my father was almost the only person I could have a decent conversation with. That's the problem with getting educated & taking it seriously: Interesting talk can be hard to find... Though he never said it in so many words, I had the impression that my father had the same problem for much of his life.
His decline & fall was decades ago but once in a while, I still miss him.

the potential and hopes/expectations I selfishly had for the future.
I don't miss anything, I'm overpowered enough not to get any attachments)
