Open Group Chat for the Grief & Loss Community - Sunday 10
An Open Group Chat for the Grief & Loss Community will take place next Sunday 10 of September in the "Support Session" room. It will be hosted by HealingTalk (me 😀).
Teens: at 4 pm EDT.
Adults: at 6 pm EDT.
This open group chat will allow all participants to speak freely about anything you want to share at the moment. It won't be structured along pre-determined topics.
It will be a safe and friendly environment to express your experiences, thoughts and emotions, to support and learn from each another, ask questions, and share coping strategies that have worked for you.

We can take advantage of our distant timezones, and host at very different hours (could be any day that's convenient to you), to offer comfortable time alternatives for people living in different parts of the world.
I will let you know how things go in terms of attendance, etc. for this first session.

What times of the day are most convenient for you, in EDT? (or you can give me your local time and a big city near you).
I usually have time around 8-11 PM my time (GMT+1 Bratislava) or 3-5PM 7Cups time. But any time before 10PM my time / 4 PM 7Cups time is fine I guess.
* by 7 Cups time I meant EDT
I hope I didn't make a mistake, I'm not very good with times 😅😅

8 pm CEST is 2 PM EDT, 10 pm CEST is 4 PM EDT. Very comfortable times for me. Let's see how this next session goes. We might revert the order next week, making it first adults, then teens, and starting 1 or 2 hours earlier.

I might do the next Adult session a bit earlier, as people from Europe told me 6 pm EDT was too late for them, and see how it goes.
After experimenting with the time and according to the attendance, my idea is to do it weekly or bi-weekly always on the same day at the same time.

@kawaicat. Here is the post about the grief chat. I think they do it every other week. When I have gone through some rough time grieving I attended grief support meetings and it was helpful for me.
