Sharing and Caring Space 💜

Hi all,

In my time at 7cups I have come across multiple teams and worked with so many people/leaders. It has been a pleasure to have given my time to Depression Support Community, particularly in forums and meeting new people on 7cups. But due to my personal issues I had to exit that part of my life, leave what was left that I had a passion for. And sometimes circumstances in life means we leave things as well as hoping that one day we come back to that thing 💜

In addition to that, I had also made a few forum posts for Grief and Loss during the summer including this one and this one. I carried a deep sadness inside of me that I couldn't do anymore for either of the communities despite my passion and work 💜

Furthermore, I recently noticed a few forum supporters joining the community and it was wonderful to see people wanting to make a difference and to help out. I then realised, there are people out there who want to help and to listen and to make a difference. There are good people 💜 And even due to my circumstances, I have loved reading and seeing people grow and learn about life!

I then realised that in one of my forums someone talked about the loss of a person really important in their life and its difficult to know who to turn to. 💜

At moments of grief/loss we often feel alot of emotions and its a really difficult to process things around us 💜 After much thought I introduce to you Sharing and Caring Space. This is a place where you can openly talk about grief and loss and we can support each other through difficult times!

Feel free to reply to other people's experience and make sure to be kind and remember that this is sensitive and we should be aware of other people around us!

And of course, if anyone wants to help in supporting others or welcoming others to this place! feel free to do so 💜

take care of yourself and stay awesome!

Bunny

It's awful but sometimes I am grieving something that has not happened yet. But it will happen eventually.  i try to catch myself and shift my thoughts. It's painful even making this post.

@MindGazer91

Hi there,

I'm really proud of you for sharing and showing so much courage and bravery by posting this. It's completely understandable to feel the way you do and valid. I hear you.

It can feel overwhelming when we are grieving something that hasn't happend and often it tends to happend :( our mind does tend to shift to negative and scary thoughts sometimes. I'm sorry to hear your feeling this way.

Sometimes we imagine the worse scenario and these thoughts surround our head and when it becomes reality is really difficult to process :( 💕 *sending you comfy cushions and virtual hugs if okay*  has something happend on the past or recently to make you feel this way? Or is it just your mind and these thoughts? Maybe experiences of grief in the past caused... Etc?

We are here for you! We can get through this one step at a time. Take it slowly and (try) to be gentle with yourself in this time.

💜💜 Bunny

@amiableBunny4016   I will say what it is. I sometimes already grieve when the day comes my grandparents pass. I'm so close to them they consider me a child. I think mom grieves it too but our coping strategy is to never speak of it. It makes me savor every moment more. They are both in great health so I'm not worried about something to come due to their health. I manage to even do a good job of blocking it from my thoughts. I've never shared it with my therapist or anything because I don't want to dwell on it. But it stays there in the background. With my mental health issues it will just be like a nuclear bomb going off when it happens. I try to find comfort in our religious beliefs. Granddad doesn't make me feel better when he tells me I benefit the most from their will and will be taken care of. I don't know why my mind shifts like this even at times when I "stable'. This weather change has my brain chemicals off. So I try to savor even tiny moments.

Grandparents are to be loved and honored. And I hear that in your message. They live on in little part of our lives. Hold on to those times. Hugs if you accept.
