Grief has no timeline!
It can be so tiring and hit us from many directions at the one time.
It can be so isolating and overwhelming.
And it hurts!
It doesn't pass completely but it comes to a place where we can live with it!

I know, it can feel like drowning!
In those moments, I'm good and kind to myself,
I usually get all snug on the couch or in my bed and I watch a film and have a munch on snacks or ice cream and allow myself the time to rest and just be!

@anonyLychee6864 You don’t have to carry all of it at once just focus on the very next step, even if it’s as small as taking a breath. Reaching out like you are now shows you don’t have to face this grief alone.

@anonyLychee6864 Grief and guilt often walk together, because the mind replays “what ifs” and “should haves.”
Noticing both emotions without judgment lets them lose some of their weight.
Writing them down or expressing them creatively can transform them into release instead of burden.

Hey I am so sorry that you are going through this. I lost my father to suicide on Mach 25 of this year. It’s been very hard on me to deal with . I’ve been in bed mostly everyday I have no energy no motivation to do anything anymore I have gained weight my hair is thinning I feel like I look like I have aged 10 years . I am so hard on myself . I can’t seem to find happiness in anything I do anymore . Also he moved in with me a years before that and that wasn’t easy either because he was pooping and peeing his pants he had custody of me when I was younger and he was very abusive mentally and physically so I was in bed for almost the whole year he was there and now I am still in bed . So I have been in bed over a year . I have 10 year old twin boys I love them with all my heart and I do get up to do things for them . I just want my life back and it seems like I am never going to get it and it sucks cause I was generally happy I had energy I never sat down I rode my motorcycle everyday and now nothing . So I understand and I am sorry for what you are going through

My kids are okay my youngest 2 don’t know he did that . I just told them he moved out and passed away .
