I'm sorry to hear you've gone through a recent breakup; they really can be blindsiding, particularly when we find out we've been cheated on as the sense of betrayal in addition to the pain of the breakup can feel overwhelming. I feel here that, rather than dwelling on why your ex was able to move on so easily, the better question is: how can you enable yourself to move past this? How can you refocus your energies on to acceptance and healing? What interim activities and routines can you use to create new structures, to replace the structure of your old relationship? There aren't any shortcuts; it's essentially a grieving process and as such, requires a mental and environmental reconfiguration of the old order as we knew it, to facilitate moving on in the process.
