totally agree paws, pets are huge parts of our lives and the pain and loss can be so painful. here for you
@CaringEzra
we did not lose a cat like now but we lost many over the years we still think of our first cat that was our cat he was named bibs and we could dress him up in baby cloths he stay in the crib we had for dolls even could push him in a baby buggy thing he seem to love all that. he was our best friend for some years when we was child we cry into his fur and tell him things we could not tell others so even now he missed and we saw him as family
@stormieandpaws
I am glad you shared this image with us. It is very accurate. I had a loving cat years ago who passed, and it was very challenging. Cats are unique, which I think is one of many reasons they are so lovable. I am sorry for your loss, and I hope you have the support you need. My door is always open if you need to talk.
Peace be with you.
@SoulThought
thanks one we lost was years ago we lost many cats like you stated each one has it own personality we never met any two cats that acted the same we have met dogs that do
so one we have now she just turned 10yr in may it be hard when the day comes that she leave us but she healthy right now as far as we know we learned something when this one was young that is that some grains like corn and wheat and soy are bad for pets like cats and dogs so her foods grain free that has helped a lot
yes a lost of a cat to us is even worst then lost of a family member that human
hugs if want them if not high 5's
@stormieandpaws
Hugs are always welcome, thank you. It's good that you were able to learn about your cat's dietary issues and make the necessary diet change. You sound like a perfect pet parent. Sometimes I feel like cats are the boss of us, and we are not the boss of them. I hope you have the support you may need throughout your grief journey. I hope you have a nice day and weekend.
Peace be with you.

this cat we have now we got from a shelter her and her sibling and mom were dropped off on the steps. the kitten still had the birthing stuff on them. but the one we end up getting she really picked us. we was not going to get a cat that day just went to look but this kitten was 10 months old. the other one she was born with and her mom had been adopted. but seeing she looked black someone within the shelter was hurting her, we not think the others know also she made no cat sounds. the people working at shelter said she never came up to people. she hated being held too.
so we end up getting her she came up to us even let us pick her up. the people working at shelter were amazed. how could we not adapted her. but took alomst a year to even get her to come up om bed lay by us. but we took ouratime with her let her go at her pace. she was like 4yr old when she made first cat sund she learned due to cat living next door they have never met but they talk to each other through the wall.
time payed off still she not like picked up. but she now will even sit on our head pull our hair and lay by us even purrr. she is best cat one could ever have she saved our life few times by waking us up when having low blood sugar also when we have had reactions to meds doctor told us at ER if she not woke us up we not be here.
so she every special cat to us. she just turned 10yr so we been thinking about when she passes and with really no support offline we know that when day come it hit us hard. we saved her but she has saved us many times too.
@stormieandpaws
It sounds like you were meant to find each other. She sounds like a unique and amazing. I am happy you found each other that day at the shelter.
Peace be with you.
