Hi everyone!

Welcome to our official Group Goals List for 2026. This thread is designed to capture your goals in a memorable place that you can revisit to document progress week over week.

By sharing your goals here, you aren't just making a list—you are documenting your journey, and allowing this community to walk alongside you every step of the way.

Our 5-Week Roadmap
Week 1: Introductions & Goal Setting
Week 2: Embracing Our Goals & Sharing Progress
Week 3: The Power of Mindfulness & Self-Care
Week 4: Managing Setbacks (The "Bounce Back" phase)
Week 5: Celebrating Our Progress

We invite you to share 1 to 3 goals you want to focus on during this Huddle. Whether they are big life changes or small daily habits, they matter!

When you post, consider sharing:

1. What are you working toward?
2. Why does this goal matter to you right now?

Consider SMARTening your goals by using this easy-to-follow SMART Goal Setting Template (here).

My goal is one that may be easy for others, but it's difficult for me-- maintaining cleanliness and to continue to declutter things from my life. I'm a person who struggles with consistency. Literally, I can go 2 weeks without washing a load of my laundry and will only do it after I get to the point I wear my clothes and have to. Then when I do wash the clothes and dry them, the next problem arrives. I'm that person who leaves clothes in the dryer. 😂 It's not funny, but funny if that makes sense. Laundry is one of those things I absolutely hate and that's why it's part of my cleanliness goal. Not that I'm filthy or anything like that. I just "live" in one space and maintain but that I don't use and it just sits. I got fed up last year and got a storage and moved my stuff out to declutter but I need to do it again. It's that feeling where I just look around my room and I'm like "why do you even need that, Desiree. Let it go. You don't need it." And it's just a cycle that continues. I eventually get fed up with the stress and being overwhelmed that I'm all or nothing. I need my goal and to be more balanced. So every day, I will trash something I don't need and clean a certain area. I will also try* not to let laundry overpile up. Key word here is try* because that's one of my weakness and I hate hate laundry. *rant over* 😂😂

@YourCaringConfidant

I really relate to that cycle as I struggle similarly with some very menial tasks I hate too. Having a daily goal to toss something is smart, and I'm glad you've joined this huddle where we can help hold you accountable <3

Just reposting what we discussed at the Friday LIVE session as a reminder for myself of Accountability.

GOAL: keep a clear mind = focus / taking action -> which is connected to my goal of being constant on working on my Thesis -> taking charge of my adulthood life.
I'm struggling with keeping my mind clear... I think I really need some Mindfulness training.

My Why is that I feel like I keep thinking of what my life will be when my thesis is done, when I start working, when I find maybe someone to share a life with... I keep thinking and dreaming of all these "adult stuff" of my "future" but I find at the end of the day I don't actually get much done to reach there. So I need to shift my energy on action and not fall in the escapasim of "dreamland".

SMART
S = start understanding what I can do by checking the Mindfullness forum and Pam's posts...bc whatever I'm doing right now isn't working much.
M: write down each day how I felt it went in relation to how much I spent thinking over doing
A: well for the moment I'm just trying to understand what I can do, so I think yes.
R: I think very relevant bc it feels like a Rock that is blocking all other rocks

1. What are you working toward?

Gaining function back in my injured hand/wrist.

2. Why does this goal matter to you right now?

The loss of function makes day to day life harder, plus there's some things I hope to do later this year that currently I can't.

SMART - Will likely change up over time. I'll fill in current detailed information for myself.

For now, exercising 3x a day, with one session being focused. Other 2 may vary, as some may incorporate other tasks I do during the day. PT sessions are weekly at this point and they taking specific measurements which will show my progress for the 1st 4 sessions.

I have a few shorter term goals but am uncertain as to the realistic timeframe. Being able to open twisting lids is one. Drinks, toothpaste, etc.

2. Why does this goal matter to you right now?

It matters because I am hopeful they're going to bring better health for me. Also being capable of them.

I got to do 2 hours and half of the thesis, I reached the definition of my core questions and themes.

measurement: half a start/3. I still spent way too much time distracted or disturbed... no good sleep, no mindful walk, at least I got a bit of importanta thesis done. I must cut out the music that distracts me even during break-time. I this week goal is exploring my mindfulness routine and technics but next week can be an healthy good break-time routine between working sessions.

I talked to a listener about mindfulness, read a post, watched a short video and applyed some tecnics this morning like the 5things-4touch-3sound-2smells-1taste + breathing and I wrote my thought on my diary

I always forget the gratitude journal...I shouldn't but I don't know why that is what I always forget... I'll write it down now

Up-dated my Time Management Q2 Proirities

I also refined my thesis-program with chatgpt

My goals are to get more sunshine. Its winter and it is harder for me to desire to go outside. I also want to get some movement in 3x a week for my physical health.

@Heather225

this is another one of my long never ending poems XD but I feel like I need to let it out in the world. It's a goal (made of other tiny goals) but also a statement of what was made clear to me in the past 5-6 weeks of 7Cup.

Settled down on my new routine, try it out, adjust if needed. It’s important to get into the right mood to conquer the day with deep sleep (ears-quiet), thought-out mindful eating (mouth-pace, watch for iron), mindful mountain walks (nose-oxygen breathing exercises for the brain, the resting effect of nature on the -eyes), the slow tea ceremony and the folk dancing (the anchoring effect of – touch)…in general be more present by doing, by feeling and experiencing, by using my senses and not stuck in a non-sensorial void of my mind replaying 1 and a million hypothetical sceneries that will never happen bc I’m taking no action in the first place. I have the listed resources including the people to support me in the journey.

My limitations are the circumstance and people crossing my boundaries and tormenting my peace, things I can’t predict that can disrupt the main columns of my mood such as my sleep. Settling is another word for resilience by adjusting to a new situation, positive or negative, finding peace, a home to thinking clearly before acting drastically and  letting the negative in me take over blocking totally my way of the river again, making me think everything is useless, there’s no point to do anything, not only the thesis but also driving again, loving again, hoping again, moving again…succumbing to the  beautiful film projecting 24/7 in my mind of this alternative already achieved full active life as a blob of a mere body attached to a virtual machine. Just a source of energy to the machine.

The lack of proper sleep and food and clear mind space to process my thesis was the missing water under my kayak, I’m stuck not because something is really in my way, I’m stuck bc I don’t have the water flow of energy and motivation to fill up my river even before thinking of rowing my kayak anywhere. I have no hope if I have no care for my mind, body and spirit.
