Daylight Savings Time: Reminder!

Hi @Kate thanks for the reminder. I am communicating with people in Australia and they are in Fall now so they set clocks differently than US does.

If anyone is stumped what time it is in EST time, just go to google.com and type in "Time ESD" Sunday or later and that will tell you what it is in Daylight Saving time is on the East Coast of US. With a worldwide collection of people this can be a little daunting but we get through this every year!

I generally leave my discussions at the same time unless there are reasons why the hosts can not longer host the discussion. That is happening on one discussion slot so I will be making adjustments.

Hi @Kate! I'm not in my (L) acct right now (obviously) ... but I just wanted to point out that the correct title/phrase is Daylight Saving Time - no "s". This may be in your link of more information on Daylight Saving Time. I thought it was interesting that within your post and post's title sometimes it shows up at SavingS and some times correctly as Saving. A few years ago some of the DJs on my favorite radio station got together all these facts and such about DST. It is interesting - and kind of makes me want to move to Arizona or Hawaii (two states that do not participate in DST at all - thus remaining in 'the same time' - no fall back, spring ahead).

And then for us here at 7cups, many countries participate or use DST of some sort. But it is not at all synchronized for the same day or weekend. Come on, United Nations, really? ... J/k I just learned though that for the UK their time will change March 31 of 2019. So they will 'catch up'? to us here in America. haha.
