Group Support 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Challenge
Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well.
I am excited to revive a challenge that was fun and started by Heather in 2016. During that time, all loved this challenge, so I believe you all will love this challenge as well.
Welcome to the ➄➃➂➁➀ Friends Challenge!
The challenge is open for everyone. Here is how to participate in this challenge!
➄ Heart any 5 compassionate messages in any group support chatroom of your choice.
➃ Say something kind and compassionate to any 4 users.
➂ Ask any 3 icebreaker questions in a chatroom of your choice.
➁ Find 2 things you have in common with another 2 people in the chatroom
➀ Make 1 new friend and share their name in this thread.
Complete the 5 steps of the challenge and post below to share your new friend's name. You can take this challenge as many times as you want and make friends!

Did the challenge! My new friend is @amicableIdea6719, met them in MCR and we ended up talking about religious traditions and how they can have a really nice impact on culture and daily life, depending on where you live.
I also looked for supportive messages, hearted 5 of them from different places (made sure they were actually warm and supportive, and not platitudes), complimented some of my favourite people, hosted an icebreaker session in Support Room 24/7 with the help of @ASilentObserver and found out that some people I've actually known for a long time also play instruments! @yasshunnyqueen and @cloudybunny942.
The three icebreaker questions were:
1. What's something nice you've done for yourself today?
Some had exercised, some made coffee, some were getting ready to go out of bed and some were getting dinner ready.
2. How would you grade how you're feeling today from A to F, with A being the best and F being the worst.
There were answers all over the scale! From F to B, and we talked a bit around this and supported each other.
3. What's your absolute favourite thing to do in the world?
Here we had a complete overload of people loving the outdoors! So that was basically all we talked about. Yay for tenting and campfires! ⛺🔥
All in all a lovely challenge, and a very effective distraction from my current very heavy anxious state. I got a little break.

I just spent a couple of hours in the relationship support group - my first group experience. It went much better than I thought (hence the hours). I'm sure I did 5421, and I claim I did something close enough to icebreaker for this purpose. I'm not sure what it means to "make friend" here, but I met the entirely impressive @Lychee31 and I hope to hear more from them sometime.
