Vegetables_*^
Hey Y'all! I was just wondering if any people have food ideas that include vegetables or just how to eat more vegetables and fruits!
@RainySummerDays
Never eaten any fruits and vegetables? In different dishes etc either? 😮
I'm glad you're looking for ways to incorporate fruits and vegetables in your diet, they are quite healthy, nutritious and yumm!
Fruits I think you can try on their own first? To get a taste and feel. Develop a liking etc! There's so many fruits and each have a unique color, texture, taste etc! Some of my favorites are Mango, Kiwifruit, Guava, Orange, Pineapple, to name some! 🥰
Some ways to incorporate fruits in meals can be pairing them with yogurt in a bowl or blending with milk to make a smoothie etc!
Veggies have so many ways to be used in also, in soup, salads, sauteing them with some oil/butter and herbs of your choice, including in either fried rice, sandwiches, curry, etc!
This was a generalish suggestion hehe, because truly, there's plenty different ways of adding fruit and veggies in your diet, it may be helpful to search recipes on YouTube or google too~ Somethng like a "fruit/ veggie name you want to try- easy dishes".

@RainySummerDays Personal I add vegetables to almost all my food,I pre-boil vegetables with onions and salt and garnish my rice with it and also dice some carrots, cabbage, greenbeans and other veggies in my rice, noodles, spag etc
@RainySummerDays I personally love making fruit salads, so it's a mix of fruits and veggies. I'd say the best way to make it is sliced strawberries, chicken, lettuce or spinach(my favorite is baby spinach), almonds, and some croutons on top!
You could eat a Salad with some veggies in it like tomatoes and bell peppers.
Or you can make a veggie tray with the veggies you like or want to try.
@RainySummerDays my chef's make a awsome stew, and they put garlic salt in it and when it's cooking it smells heavenly😌 and the good thing about it is you can use any meat and veg you like💖💖
So many options 😱
I think a good way to start with vegetables is getting a soup or Bolognese sauce with them already incorporated or sneaking frozen mixed veg into mash potatoes or peas into mince. Then looking at adding a steam bag of veg next to your meal (I find the steam bag veg is so much nicer than boiled), and you can just throw the bag in the microwave.
As for fruit, throwing blueberries into some cereal, and smoothies are also a good way. Even just a box of raisins as a snack.
Baked beans, nuts, and tomato soup count too! :)
@RainySummerDays Something that has been working for me is adding fruit or electrolytes to my water. Sounds silly and small, but works. Today, I did a watermelon liquid IV and added strawberries. Eating the strawberries after was so delicious. I also have been adding a small cup of things I like with whatever meal I'm having as a snack instead of chips. With breakfast, I chop up an apple, cherries at lunch, and carrots at dinner. Good luck!
@fairmindedEast7341 I am a huge fan of drinking detoxifying water myself. Cheers!
@RainySummerDays honestly just add the right veggies to dishes you already enjoy and remember to season them a little
@RainySummerDays I absolutely love taking cauliflower and mixing ranch all over them and then I bake the cauliflower. Oh, it is so good.
Roast the vegetables. It’s delicious!
