I've lost 3 pounds in the past week and a half! I'm very proud of myself because I'm a recovering compulsive overeater. I've got this!1000002523_1716072639.jpg

@Sheena39

Congratulations!

Could you give me some tips on being happy and healthy? I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, which was a shock because it doesn't run in my family. I was told to lose weight and to change my diet. I was overweight, but not overly so. I also suffer from depression and also was recently diagnosed with PTSD. Eating certain foods was the only thing that made me feel better. So, having to cut out the things I like just depresses me more. I am trying to eat healthier, but I am afraid of my sugar spiking so my diet has been crazy lately. I keep looking over the recommended foods and they include a lot of foods I don't like/not used to eating. My doctor was happy I lost 6 lbs. in 4 weeks, but my kids are worried I am developing an eating disorder.
