What is a habit that you wish you started when you were younger that you think has made you happier and healthier?

Keeping a cleaner house... It's so much more pleasant to have a healthy home...

As they say "home is where the heart is!"

Likewise. I cannot tolerate an unkempt environment.

Working out and meditating and doing more of the things i love doing. Letting go of toxic people.

Journaling. I did it off and on for a day or two every other month when I was younger. So I have some entries. I now do it at almost every week. I still wish I would do it more. Its very insightful.

@KnockOutClock

setting boundaries'  and staying firm in them

even if this kinda still hard big one would be reaching out for help not trying to do everything by self

Knowing when my system needs a break and actually listening to that. I’m not making any progress if I’m sitting there staring at a task because I’m so anxious. Taking a break (although it makes me feel lazy) is actually more helpful in the long run to accomplishing things.

Buddhist mind training. Qi gong. Gaming IN PERSON with others. Asking for help. ( The last one is very very hard for me. So I’ve turned it into an intentional practice. I do it regularly, even if I don’t actually need the help. People generally like to help; they feel needed, and I get to offer a skill of mine at a future date. )

Definitely wish I kept up with putting muscle on me. I'm still a teenager but I still wish I started sooner :,)

I have become an early riser due to my work (I work outdoors and live in a desert environment). When I was younger i could not get up in the morning to save my life. Now I bounce out of bed. I find I’m much more productive in the morning and look forward to getting some chores done before I head out the door. I wish I would have developed the habit much earlier in my life. I feel it has made a huge difference!

One habit I wish I had started earlier is making learning a daily habit.

Whether it's reading, listening to podcasts, or studying a language, I've found that consistent learning has helped me grow, stay curious, and feel more confident.

It has also given me a healthier way to spend my time and focus on personal development.

@KnockOutClock I used to do yoga everyday, even the 30 day challenges, also used to do pilate work outs often also. I kind of wish I kept that up
