AND ANYONE ELSE I MISSED.. AS WELL AS ALL OF THE "NEWBIES" :)
My week has been up and down....I stayed on track with my eating as well as my steps throughout the week. I could have increased my water a little more... I kept up with several appointments. Which is something I put off doing or "push back" at times when anxiety tries to get in the way...I continue to try and push through moments of anxiety. Anxiety can hinder one from doing alot of things in the way you are normally accustomed to doing them....So my exercise "efforts" could've been better....I did already post my completed "Heart Disease Awareness" Results, so I'm happy I have gotten that done and out of the way as well!!
Great thing though is that "today" is "REST DAY" for me, so YAYY!....I love Rest days
. They are so great for physical, mental and emotional well-being. So, today I just try to relax and do what comes naturally (whatever that may be). Hope everyone else is having a good week!
I did a good amount of walking but now my knee is bad -_-
I am starting to get back on track after being so sick last week. I exercised most days at least a little. I have not been so good at meeting my other goals related to doing physical therapy exercises and stretches for my various physical issues. I would probably be in less pain if I did them more regularly. My diet has been mostly good too, though I had PIE today for my son's birthday and it was sooooo good!
@SadMe70 PS I am working on my heart health challenge in pieces. I walked a mile on two different days on the treadmill. One mile to go to finish my 5k.
I have been sick for the past few days, so haven't been able to exercise as much as I'd like. However, I'd still like to take part in this month's healthy heart challenge.
@IsabelleJ
Isabelle, the challenge is open to EVERYONE for the entire month of February! You can do as little or as much as you want :) You can do it all in one day or spread it out over the course of the month little by little. :) Its up to you and what you are able to do. So glad that you want to participate!
I walked for an hour on Saturday and danced for two hours on Saturday.
@Doglover1991
Wow..thats pretty awesome Doglover!.... What kind of dancing did you do? Did you take a class, or was it for some type of party or event? Great job~
@PoliteOcean
I danced at a music concert.
Well, I've been sleeping much better...not exactly at the ideal time
...and getting efficient sleep according to my fitbit. So that's good and is probably why my mood and energy seem to have improved. So now I can work on sleeping at a better time and not for so long. Eleven hours is a really long time to sleep each day. But I guess my body needed it for these past three days.
Hopefully I will get back on track with eating and exercising. Eating was a bit better last week, so I hope to be back on track this week.
@BridgetAileen
Great job on getting that sleep in Bridget, you are still doing great! 11 hours... I wish lol!.... I have been working on sleep as well, trying to go earlier. I'm so thankful for my Fitbit to show me and keep me on track. I'm sure you are too. Keep up the great work, as I'm sure you know everything little "small" goal achieved only leads to bigger and better things :)
I feel like I keep saying this, but it was another okay week with ups and downs.
Bad things: I'm really stressed about stuff I keep putting off, and my mom and I have been fighting about it. Actually though last night my mom was kinda understanding. That was nice. I've also been depressed a lot again. :(
Some good things: I was really good about sleep! I got at least 6 hrs of sleep every night and went to bed at midnight (aka the same time) most nights! It's still not enough sleep, but going to bed at the same time is important to me because it makes my mental health better... Another good thing is that sometimes I was productive. Also I made this box thing with things that make me feel better and I can take one out and do it if I feel bad! It was fun to make. Hopefully I'll actually use it.
And yes I'm signed up for the heart challenge! I haven't done it yet... but there's lots of time left :)
@lovingBanana5204
Take a Look at your list... Seems like there are ALOT more "GOOD" things listed than not...
Just thought you might want to see that too
Keep up the great work you've been doing.. .you are doing great!
@PoliteOcean Haha thanks Ocean! As I was writing the positive ones, I kept thinking of more... :D I think my mood is turning to the good side. :) And also thinking of things that are good or that I'm thanful for is a really good thing to do!
