**This past week went better than I first anticipated it would be. I Had to get something done that I didn't really want to do or take care of. But.. I didnt really have a choice. So.. Finally got it all done and taken care of. I was just surprised that things went as well as they did and just reminds me that trying to stay more positive in situations that present themselves in a negative way, is certainly more beneficial.

**I didn't stay on track completely with everything going on this week. But, I did manage to keep up with activity goals, and water goals, & Taught my few Senior Zumba Gold Classes...... Sleep was ok, but really going to put my best efforts in with that in the coming week ahead. Being a life-long "night-owl" can surely get one off track with sleep goals, so I do realize I need to put forth much more effort to doing better than I have been. I'm excited to see the possible benefits and improvements in my days over time~

**The weather here has been a little back & forth again, very warm one day, and then cooler the next.... But, its been very seasonable with no rain, so was actually able to get out to the track several days this week and got my dog out as well almost every day! He's so happy enjoying the outdoors~

**This weekend is turning a littler cooler again, but..intentions are to get some sort of activity in whether its a virtual class or the track. And hoping to finally start getting some spring-time yard-work done and work towards getting the pool opened again soon. Then relax for the evening~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND AHEAD~

**Hey Everyone~ How have you been this week?

Beginning of the week was not too good to be honest, but I have felt much better now.

**We are already "Half-way" through the month of April!... How are things going for you? How are you doing in your goals for yourself so far this month? What things do you feel have improved from last month? What things would you like to continue to work on?

I still procastinated on a lot of goals I set out for April. However, i have improved a lot in terms of my sleep and physical strength. My work out and healthy eating is paying off, my physique is much leaner now. I would like to continue with healthy eating, sleep early and do sports daily.

**What is "One" thing that made you "Proud" of yourself this week?! What is One thing you Accomplished this week?

I have finished leadership training on my listener account.

** What is "One" healthy thing that you can do for yourself in the coming week ahead that you have "NOT" done for yourself yet?!

I would call up a friend to cycle together

**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week?

My struggles would definately be lack of motivation to do stuff.

**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~yes

Apart from healthy eating, regular exercise and completed the leadership training, I have procastinated on most of my goals this week. It's one of the most unproductive weeks for a while now. I hope to pick up the pace and before motivated and productive next week.

@SpicyHeart Sorry to hear that the beginning of your week was a challenging one for you. But that’s great for you that you are now doing better! I totally hear you and understand where you are coming from where you say you Still procrastinated on a lot of your April goals. I can personally relate to that. Some months can be more challenging than others depending on what’s going on in our lives. Despite those struggles it’s good for you that you have improved in sleep and physical strength. And that those benefits of working out and eating healthy are paying off for you! Sounds like you are putting in lots of great work for yourself?! Keep up the great job you are doing! Congrats to you on finishing your leadership training! Yay! That’s awesome for you. Sorry to hear that you have lacked the motivation that you desire. And that you feel your week was unproductive... Don’t be too hard on yourself. That happens sometimes. And it’s ok to take a step back from things. Sometimes we just need to focus on ourselves and take care of ourselves in the terms of some good “self care” time. So that we can recharge and continue to move forward. That we can inevitably pick up the pace, get motivated and feel more productive again! You will get there! Take care of yourself first and the rest will follow! Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you’ve been doing!

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday I picked up both my laptops from the repair shop. The total cost was $200. I also went grocery shopping. Wednesday I had therapy and also acupuncture. Thursday my psychiatrist canceled our appointment but we re-scheduled. Also on Thursday I reviewed the results of my blood test with my nephrologist. My kidneys are getting better. Friday I went to the chiropractor and also a failed visit to Starbucks. I wanted to read my book, but it was too noisy and there were too many people around, so I didn't feel comfortable. My friendship with my email friend Brandi is going well. The big news for this week is I cut my coffee intake by about 50%. The ring tone on my Smart Phone went to zero, and I am unable to increase the volume. I've been missing a few phone calls.Fortunately my caretaker Deysi has agreed to be a contact person for me, and I authorized her to make appointments on my behalf. For this upcoming week, I have therapy on Monday and acupuncture on Wednesday. My sleeping habits have been good for the past month ever since I've been put on new medication.

@Regmo

Hey Regmo~ Thats good for you that you were able to get both your laptops back, for what sounds like a really great price?! Thats not too bad for "two" computers. Sounds like you had another pretty busy week. Thats too bad that your psych appointment was canceled, but good that they were able to get it rescheduled. Hopefully they were able to get your reschedule set up for a timely manner. And how awesome for you that the results of your blood work revealed great news for you and that your kidneys are getting better. What do you think is helping the 'most' with those results?! ...Despite it not going as well as you had hoped, it was nice that you were able to attempt a Starbucks visit! Perhaps you can try again in the coming week ahead. I'm proud of you to hear that you attempted to get out and about in attempts to just relax and enjoy yourself. Thats good to hear for you that your new friendship is continuing to go well between you both! And wow! Thats awesome news that you were able to work on cutting your coffee intake back, and by 50%!! Thats quite a huge cut! Congrats on being able to make the changes that you desired! Thats good for you also that despite having some issues with your phone, that things are continuing to go well with Deysi as your caretaker, and that she is able to be a "back-up" for you. And can help you to make appointments when needed. And thats really great that your sleep habits have been going well. That can be tough one for many. Sounds like the meds are doing their job!... All in all sounds like you had a really great and productive week in many ways! Thanks for sharing your week with us and continuing to keep us up to date on whats going on and how you are doing. You take care and chat with you soon!

**We are already "Half-way" through the month of April!... How are things going for you? How are you doing in your goals for yourself so far this month? What things do you feel have improved from last month? What things would you like to continue to work on?

So It's me again! RL and working full time is kicking my butt all over the place, but my bank account is happy. That's a good thing because my family has asked me to move out as soon as possible, but at least by April 30th of next year, when they will be putting me outside and changing the locks if I haven't moved. So they're serious.. they feel I'm "not progressing" living in their basement and that they "have to think of their own mental health" whatever that means. Considering they told me 2 weeks after I returned to work from my medical leave for my full hip replacement, I don't get what they are talking about and things continue to be a little strained at times. They actually wanted access to my counseling team to go over my head and set treatment goals but I went in and revoked my ROIs from when I had hip surgery and also changed my Emergency Contacts.

Having put my work goals into place I think I'm going to step back and start doing self-care goals again for the rest of this month. I'd like to institute a skin care regimen for my face and take better care of my teeth. Also I'd like to be more healthy with what I eat and eat less.

**What is "One" thing that made you "Proud" of yourself this week?! What is One thing you Accomplished this week?

I'm proud that I managed to get my hair cut, volunteer, see the doctor, and return a computer at a UPS dropoff that I bought for a charity but that was sent without some parts all on the same day.

** What is "One" healthy thing that you can do for yourself in the coming week ahead that you have "NOT" done for yourself yet?!

I don't really know right now. I'll have to come back to the rest of the questions later. :)

**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week?

@AvidGamer293

So one thing that I could do for myself that I haven't already is to arrange cabs for my new week of employment. Getting to where I work is about 5-10 minutes away by car but if I have to take the bus its a minimum of 1hr and 40 minutes before my shift that I have to leave the house and be ready.

Also I'm lagging behind on getting my clean clothes put away.

Hey there Gamer!..

Great to hear from you this week! Sorry to hear that you've been so busy with your RL and work! But yes... a nice bank account is something to smile about for sure!...

Sounds like you are having quite the issue with your family?! I've personally been on both sides of the fence, in having to stay with family for a bit of time, and also having to keep family for a bit of time. When we are the ones staying in someone elses place, it can be certainly easy to get a little comfortable in the situation. And sometimes can seem easier than having to worry about looking for a new place again and being back out on our own. ..... On the otherhand, when we have to keep family and allow them to stay, (for me personally), it was like having to constantly make sure they were treating my home the way I desired and doing the things that enable us to all live together as peacefully as possible. (Which didn't always work)........ Its certainly not easy in either respect having to follow someone else rules, .... OR.. having to lay down the rules that you feel aren't being followed. Thats certainly tough and make things "strained" either way!... And hopefully very soon, you will have everything sorted out for yourself and that you can also be in and have some sort of peace for yourself as well!

Its good though that you were able to get all your affairs, paperwork and personal matters dealt with in the meantime! Thats certainly very important. And how great that you were able to get alot accomplished recently And that you are also going to plan to make steps for some self-care time as well as making some healthier choices for yourself! Good for you! Keep up the great work on that!!

And how Beneficial that would be for you to make plans on getting arranging and making plans to get back and forth to work! To have that already planned and set up could certainly be a major stressor off your shoulders! And as far as "time" the cab certainly seems the way to go for sure!... I guess it would also come down to the "cost" of both and planning ahead more to be ready if you were to have to take the bus?! Something to surely think about and think on. If cost becomes an issue with the cab, perhaps even splitting up between the two each week could be helpful as well?

Thanks for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going with you! Its so great to hear from you and that you are nicely healed up and making strides in all your goals and plans! Please continue to keep us up to date on how you are continuing to do!

I am struggling with my body health today but mentally I feel well! My goals this month are doing much better than I thought they'd be! I still have one big thing to do that I'm procrastinating, but I know that if I do it I'll succeed! April is already loads better than March. I feel more stable than I have in a while, despite the ebbs and flows of my mental health. I've also been outside a lot more! I'd like to do better in regards to giving myself recharge time. I managed to kick some butt at home doing SPRING CLEANING! I moved apartments and I'm still unpacking but it's so much better than it was! I'm not sure what I can do for myself next week that I haven't yet; maybe go outside more? My confidence feels low in that regard! Highlights: PUSHING THROUGH! Struggles: Consistency

@betterchoices

Hey there!

Despite having some struggles with body health, its great for you that overall you are feeling well in your mental health! And that your goals are going well for you this month & going better for you than the previous month did! Its good for you to hear that you are feeling more stable despite the ups and downs of your mental wellbeing. And that you are doing a great job at getting outside more! Not sure where you are, but here its Spring time, and its so great to see everything change back to "green" again. And to see the flowers and feel the fresh air! It certainly can help improve your mood and overall wellbeing.. And can certainly "recharge" us body,mind and spirit. You could even consider it "self-care" time. But just being alone and connecting with nature.

Awesome job at "kick-butt" on your Spring Cleaning!... I did a little of that myself here and there over the past month, and it certainly feels good to "clean all your personal spaces". Cleaning the clutter from around you can certainly be good for the soul. And being able to move from one space and start fresh in a new space can surely bring improvements as well as a fresh-start!.....Its great that your "highlight" was being able to "Push Through"! ... Don't allow yourself to think to hard about the consistency of it for now. Just take things day by day, moment by moment as much as you can. You have enough on your plate at the time with moving. Perhaps focusing on the move, and getting to where you need to be, and then in your "free" moments, simply make the time for yourself to do what you "enjoy"! Whether its getting outside more, or just simply sitting in the sun, taking in the things around you. Clearing your mind~ Focusing on 'you" and how you feel in that moment. Everything else will come, and fall into place!

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you and how you are doing! Its great to hear from you this week. We appreciate your share. And hope to hear from you more about how you are feeling and how your "move" is going for you!
