Good post. I have been engaging in cardio exercise, which includes going for walks outside, normally to my local recreation centre or library, and back home. At the recreation centre, I will sometimes walk there in the morning, get a coffee, and walk back home to get exercise. At the centre, there is also a walking trail that one can use, as well as an indoor walking track.
There is also a Yoga class offered at my neighbourhood fitness centre, and it is held every Tuesday, so I am looking to join that. I have not participated in a Yoga class for awhile, so I will be easing my way back into that. As well, I went biking outside yesterday, as the weather here is getting warmer. I am thinking of getting a new bike. They have added new equipment to the gym here in the fitness centre as well, which I am going to check out. I also am planning to go swimming during the warmer months.
Additionally, I want to continue with relaxation-type activities.

Great Check-in Rayden!..
That is how I started out as well (at my local recreation/community center)... I started by using the indoor track and then eventually some of the equipment. And then eventually a few weeks in, a Zumba class! (My "FIRST" Zumba class).... that was all it took for me to stay engaged and to keep going.
Its great that you have this option available to you and that you are staying positive and utilizing it in some really great ways!.. I also agree with you as well ,I'm waiting to start swimming again too once the weather finally gets warm enough for it! I love to swim in the summertime.
Thanks for checking in this week and keep up the great work that you are doing!
I'm not sure how much weight I've lost, it has been a rollercoaster so early in my weight loss journey. I sell products for a company called Acti-Labs and they have helped me lose weight and feel better, it's very amazing. However, as I said it is hard to change your eating habits and increase your physyical activity. I'm doing it, but slower than I like. Today I vow to try to speed it up but still do it at a healthy pace. I know a bit about health, but the more the better -- any tips, advice, or encourgement? Thanks everyone xx :D <3
@MattRainbow
Hey there Matt,
Thanks for checking in. I know it can be quite challenging for some to live healthier lifestyles.. Because lets face it, its pretty darn easy to sit around and be sedentary and/or to not eat the healthiest of foods....
Once you get started, using small step, it does start to become much easier to do, and almost a 2nd nature, especially when you are looking for "specific" results and you start to see them!...
I've never heard of Acti-labs, but its cool that this is something that has worked for you...
Lots of times people can simply get started by changing their "eating habits"... Getting rid or cutting back on the sugars,starches, and empty calories (like juices and sodas) etc.... Once you got the hang of eating healthier or simply picking healthier options, then at some point incorporating "activity" that you like is the next step! NOTICE I DIDN'T SAY "EXERCISE"!?.. Because its simply getting up and moving. Find something you like that motivates you. (A group class, Zumba, Dance, Weights... Walking in nature by yourself, a pet or with a friend/partner)..... When you find something you enjoy it never seems like a workout.
Congrats on taking great steps for yourself. And continue to keep up the great work... If you have any other "Specific" questions please dont' hesitate to ask! Thanks for checking in this week.
I think I learnt that its all about balancing, for example.. if physically I am not up for it, I can get quite annoyed at myself and feel like I have gained all this extra weight.. so during this challenge, I read a lot of how other people here would write about how they drank water today or went for a walk, and it dawned on me that that too counts. Instead of just being physically active, healthy decisions play a role as well.. which in turn leads to a peace in the mind as well. Learning its not the end of the world, if I miss a gym session and that it is far worse to put myself down for it. Thank you all! :)
Take care everyone
