🌞 This past week went well and steady.... I managed to stay on track with all my goals for the week. Kept up with sleep, hydration, workouts, meals, and all appointments. I also got back on track with journaling and some light meditation. Last weekend I also found a "New Clean-Eating" Meal Service that offers dine-in, take-out and Food delivery service. Its completely Whole/Clean Non-processed meals. With calculated macros/nutrition! And its exactly what our area needed. This will help to keep us on track & balanced throughout the course of the week. Especially on busy days! I'm excited about the possibilities.

🌴 This past week the weather has been absolutely beautiful, And it wasn't as hot/humid. It was much more motivating to get outside and enjoy the weather. I kept up with my all my scheduled Fitness classes, and then got outside everyday with the Pup for walks. With the weather being much milder, it was easier to sit longer, and inspired me to finally "Journal" again & meditate for a bit. Which put me in a more peaceful place for the rest of the day....... I "almost" taught my first Fitness class again (in at least a year) when one of our class instructors called out at last minute. But because I didn't know ahead of time, I didn't have my music with me. And the facility didn't have "teachable" music. But I realized in that day, how motivated I felt to least put myself back out there again (even IF ONLY to sub for now).

🍍 This weekend is going to be beautiful with great weather. Intentions are to completely enjoy that. And to also get out and about to get more "Clean-eating" meals for the week from the new place I found. Also do some light shopping for the week ahead, as I will be getting ready to take my last big summer vacation at the end of next week.

🌞 How are you doing this week?...I had a great week, finishing up my vacation

🌴 What is one thing you would repeat about the past week if you could?.... I would repeat the whole week. I had a great vacation week What is one thing you would change about it?.... I would schedule more days in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. There was more to do there than we had scheduled days.... What was the most "memorable" moment of your week? I can't put a label on the MOST MEMORABLE. They were all memorable moments

🍍 In continuing with "AUGUST NATIONAL WELLNESS MONTH", What is something that Helps you to create a positive mindset, or helps you to create a positive space for yourself? Scheduling and having alone time to decompress

🌞 JUST FOR FUN: If you could live any any other "Era" which timeframe would you live in and Why?!
I've never put any thought into this. I'm not sure.

🌴What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?...... Highlights this week were, again, my awesome road trip. My struggle this weekend, specifically today, is getting my mind right for having to back to work. I've been constantly thinking about all the "fires I'm going to have to put out" and all the things I"m going to have to fix because of the time off I took. How were you able to work through your challenges?! I'll let you know tomorrow or Monday how I worked through the struggle

🍍 What is something that "YOU" want to talk about, add or share with us this week?! ....WE want to hear from YOU!~I'll leave this blank for now. Maybe come back to it at a later time

Hey there Cycling~ Thats great for you that you enjoyed your week.

I have never been to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg areas. I hear its really nice from the things I've seen. (The most I've ever really got to checkout in TN was Nashville & Chattanooga which I enjoyed).... It looks like you now have "another" trip to plan just to finish checking things out there for yourself!.. I think TN is probably a little underrated considering all of the great things to do there. And its wonderful that you have made some memorable experiences for yourself.

Ahh.... yes... I agree (alone time & decompressing) is a great way to celebrate your Wellness this month! It's so nice to just get away, and "de-stress" from everyday things.

I can understand your "struggles" of having to go back to work (especially after the highlights of having such a wonderful vacation). It can certainly be challenging getting your mind in the "mode" to go back to a place that you'd rather not be. Perhaps thinking on the wonderful experience that you've just come off of, and keeping in your mind "the thoughts" that these are things that can happen for you again, could help. Start thinking on your "next" vacation! Start making some plans for it and visiting TN again. Getting to see all the things that you didn't quite have time for! (Even if it doesn't happen right away of course), but keeping the thoughts close can help you to push through and Having "that something" to look forwards to. Or even planning some "mini-vacations" in between can help keep you to keep going until the next Big one!

Hopefully your first day back wasn't as stressful for you as you thought it might be! And thank you for checking in this week and sharing & for letting us know how the past week went for you. Please continue to keep us updated on how things are going!

@PoliteOcean

Here’s how the past week went. I continued to read my devotional book and art history book. Wednesday Ashawn picked me up to go to the library but I was so worried about Ashawn I couldn’t concentrate. He took me to a new park without my authorization. Thursday Ashawn’s car was in the repair shop so I didn’t go anywhere. Friday I decided I had to terminate Ashawn after he dropped me off at home after our outing. He’s made a lot of mistakes that I didn’t get into in my past updates. I’m going to have to cancel my dermatologist appointment, but that’s not a big deal. I can live with it. I sent my former caretaker Tunde an email asking if he wants to come back to work for me but I haven’t heard back from him yet. Sunday and Saturday Amanda didn’t feed me breakfast, so I had a protein bar. \ Two weeks ago the coffee maker died, and I know Leslie isn’t going to replace it, so I don’t even bother to ask her. Leslie likes to laugh and have a good time, but if I were her, I’d be worried about my eternal destiny. Alan’s latest thing is keeping the window in our bedroom open 24/7. I need the window closed when I’m sleeping or resting to keep out the traffic noise, noise from the neighbors, or chatter from the back patio. I’m a sensitive, light sleeper.

Hey Regmo~ Thats good that you were able to get your reading time in that you enjoy. I think its odd though that Ashawn would take you somewhere that you weren't aware that you were going to. Do you know why he took you there without telling you? (Maybe I don't want to know, or maybe I might already know)... I must admit, even by the little bit that you have stated in regards to Ashawn, it sounds like he was a bit of a "shady" character?! Which I've come across many of those in my time.... I can understand you terminating him if he made you feel that uncomfortable. Nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable when they are relying on another to take care of them..... Thats too bad that you have to cancel your derm app't. I'm sure it was with good reason. I would have liked for you to get that wound looked at just to see what was going on there...Hopefully its continuing to heal. Perhaps at another time thats better for you, you can get it rescheduled. Hopefully you will hear something back from Tunde. He seemed to be the best caregiver for you yet so far. Leslie (based on your issues with her) sounds like yet another shady character as well. I've known too many people who've opened up these so-called "Care-Homes" etc... and just do it thinking its an easy way to make money by do the minimum. Oh my.. I couldn't sleep with the window open either, not all night. I don't blame you. As I'm certainly a light sleeper myself. Hopefully that situation won't last too long, or it will resolve somehow for you sooner rather than later! Thank you for sharing with us this week and letting us know how your week has gone for you. Please continue to keep us up to date.
